Wilotree Park

Wonderful Day at Wilotree Park, Groveland, Florida. Lots of people with their Microlight aircraft and Hang gliders. They had a Labor day BBQ Celebration which reminded me of Old America when people got together to have a great fun time. They also had a Jump Castle for the kids and a nice pool. BBQ was at the Lake nearby after 5PM. Kayaking, swimming and Boom swinging also. Despite the holiday this is a great place to practice your aviator skills while having fun. I am also told the prices for flight cheap compared to other places. Also offered are Trike Flight instruction with Mick a very experienced flight instructor. Great Time!!!

A friend brought me here for my first time camping, I have to say they couldn’t have picked a better place. Hanging out by the lake and enjoying nature was great, and it was so cool watching the flights. My absolute favorite though were the stars at night, will definitely be back. If you know anyone on the fence about camping bring them here!

Absolutely a gem of a property! Friendly hosts and awesome camping. Lake, pool, showers and airplanes. Beautiful sunsets and stargazing. My favorite spot to camp around the bay area. I drive from Saint Pete just to camp here. Worth the drive

How to describe a place where time slows down and you begin to enjoy every moment . A place where you can set up your hang glider under the shade of a big tree with your friends, savoring that anticipation of getting towed up into the sky to play amongst the clouds. A place where you can fly with total confidence given the great but safe conditions and terrain. A place where you can land on the sweetest field , unhook from your glider and go jump in a refreshing cool lake while you watch the sunset . A place to hang out with your friends in the evening , remember the days flights with your buddies and if you so wish retire to your own first class room right there on the premises , or if you are a little more adventurous go crash in your tent on the edge of the lake. A place where you can wake up the next day and do it all again and realize its not a dream. I guess its a place yor could describe as heaven on earth.

This park exceeded our expectations for the coast to coast ride. The camping facilities were very nice and it felt as homely as can be. Definitely a safe place ran by kind-hearted people. Swimming in the lake was extremely refreshing. We will be visiting again soon!

Excellent park with great camping accomodations as well as rooms to stay in. There's a lake, a mountain bike trail, and you can go HANG GLIDING or fly an AIRPLANE! It's so cool! Everyone there is so nice! I can't wait to go back!

Don't go there unless you want to leave with a smile.... even if you don't go hang gliding. The attitude of everyone is very friendly, helpful, and joyful.

Went there today to go hang gliding and flying with friends, the experience was incredible, and made even better by the people that work there. The pilots were informative and fun, and every part of the experience just made me want to do it again. The property is beautiful, from ground level and a mile up. Everyone one of us that went made immediate plans to come back. Amazing people and place!
