H&R Block

I am a new customer to this HR Block office. I have used HR Block for many years.

I was extremely pleased with the service, knowledge and responsiveness of my preparer at the Marco Island office. His name was Jerry.

I was very disappointed with the environment of the office. There are 3 tax preparer areas. Only one is enclosed and has a door. The door was open while a client was being assisted.

When I was at the office the voice level was very loud. I could hear other client discussions. The two other preparers, female, and the receptionist were extremely loud almost as though they were at a party.

I asked Jerry if it was always like this. He said sometimes and continued working with me. I said I was surprised that he could concentrate.

This office needs to have more private offices and the staff needs to control its voice level. I am not sure if I will return next tax season.

I have been going to H & R Block since we moved to Florida in 2005. They always know the tax laws and current deductions you can use and everything always goes smoothly and no problems.

Michele Huss maintains such a pleasant attitude even through a complicated tax return. She assembles receipts for everything to get it right.

would be zero if possible , The web says fed and state . I wanted to drop and pick up the state only . The greater was fine but the accountant was nasty and said she does not do state forms.I asked why does your web site state that you do and she said 'i dont do them '. We left . Accurate and excellent service. Maddie always explains everything to me and is very informative. The whole staff is very friendly. I've enjoyed having them do my taxes for years. I never have any worries or concerns.

Although fully vaccinated, my husband an end stage COPD’er on 24hr O2 was denied access to the air conditioned office because he is unable to wear a mask with the O2 nasal cannula. He was forced to stay outside in the 90 degree heat & humidity of Fl. I will never return to H&R Block & will make sure I let everyone I come in contact with know how horrendously we were treated by the gentleman in the Marco Island office. If you choose to do business in a state with a large elderly population you need to be more considerate.

The store is on Marco Island where I live so it is very convenient. The tax professional is easy to work with and I know my taxes will be correct.
