Addison Town Police Department

My thanks to officer Rob Martino and his partner Jeff for their positive promotion of community rapport at the Addison garage sale this Saturday.
I was there with my precious little Gloria, a young girl of 10 years of age whose dream is to one day wear the blue in service to her community when she is an adult.
Gloria approached Rob with her questions about his choice of profession at the sale. They were well trained and prepared for this opportunity to interface with Gloria and made the most of the exchange. He and Jeff graciously listened to her questions, seizing on the opportunity to enthuse her with their passion for policing. Officer Martino let Gloria hold his badge (she was impressed with its weight), posed for a picture, and gave her and her young cousins faux badge stickers "Addison Junior Police".
Thank you, Officer Martino and your partner Jeff for impressing my little girl with your professionalism. You are a credit to the department and a reason for my feeling of pride for Addison.

Just watching Addison PD unit# 387 swerve out of the way of a box frame laying in the middle of Midway road. Did not stop to move it or put on his lights to warn traffic that it was there. Just swerved into other lane, failing to signal, and kept on driving. "To protect and serve."

What kind of city is this? I came to the police station but could not see any officer. Had to pick up a phone to talk to a dispatcher and been waiting for almost an hour and still no sign of anyone to come take my statement. Addison is a rich city and should be able to do better!

I called to ask if they do ink fingerprinting. I spoke to Stacy who was professional and informative. Even though Addison doesn’t provide this service, she promptly directed me to the right places and saved me some time. As an FYI for those interested: Carrollton and Farmers Branch do ink fingerprinting. Thank you Stacy @ Addison PD!

I was pulled over for an expired registration by an Addison officer recently. I explained that I hadn't had the money to cover the fee due to a recent family cancer diagnosis, but that I had managed to get it inspected and was going to pay for the new registration as soon as I was able. He let me go with no trouble, and I was able to pay the fee today. I wouldn't have been able to do so if I'd been ticketed, and I am grateful that he was kind enough to understand that. I wish I remembered your name... but sincerely, thank you. It's hard these days. I appreciate the grace.

There's a person on Google who reviews every police department they come in contact with as one star. That is all they do basically. That same person gave Addison PD one zero. I've lived in and around Addison for over 25 years. Zero problems. When I've been pulled over, I've been more likely to receive a warning than a ticket. I've never talked to anyone in the area with any issues. Well patrolled part of North Dallas and the only problems you'll run into is if you cause them. One of the better police departments in Dallas proper.

I was pulled over by Officer Phillips and I wanted to say thank you to him for being so polite and understanding. He smiled and was very very perfessional. He was not rude at all and showed He had class. It's officers like Phillips that make the day. Give this man a raise and an award he deserves it.
