Tatering

Marc Caplette with Tatering provided our catering and place settings for our special day. His team arrived early and set the table settings up beautifully. We rented chargers, plates and goblets from him. We chose BBQ and we were not disappointed. There was an abundance of food and the guest seem to all enjoy everything. His brisket is incredible. Prior to booking him as our caterer we wanted to do a tasting. Even though we requested a tasting on thanksgiving weekend (a very busy weekend for his crew), he made it happen. He is always willing to help and truly cares about his brides. He is always quick to respond to both email and messages. When it comes to being budget friendly you will not find a more budget friendly option at this quality of food.

Big thanks and a shout out forTatering. They catered a wedding at our venue Saturday with a 5 person crew. Hugo and the team didn't miss anything from hors d' oeuvres to bussing. They even left our catering area spotless and the trash was taken out. They were in matching uniforms with black pants and very polite. Nice job to the team and Marc Caplette for running a business superbly and hiring good people. 5 stars!

Loved using them! Planning process with them for our wedding catering was soooo easy. I asked a million questions that were answered pretty promptly. They were seamless for our wedding day too and honestly as the bride they seemed to pull everything off without a hitch. The food was yummy too. The only thing is that they skimped some of our guests because they thought they were going to run out but we ended up having sooooo many leftovers. Like so many. Their prices for wedding catering are literally unbeatable!!

Tatering was an excellent choice for our wedding catering service. They kept our guests and I well fed and stayed on top of bussing tables during the night. We had the chicken/beef fajita buffet and we were very happy with the quality of their food and services!

Had smallish wedding for about 70 guests. Meatball and spinach appetizers were very good. Chicken main course was okay, and sirloin was very, very bad. Overall not bad for the money, other than the sirloin.

Had a tasting here, and Marc was incredibly nice and accommodating! I do not have to worry about linens, clean up, set up, or anything. I'm so excited for my wedding day, just for the food!

Wasn’t really that detailed on how things were supposed to happen and the day of the wedding they showed up earlier then they were supposed to and served our guest cold food. Did not bring the warmers that we paid for and over cooked part of our dish. Not a fan.

Overall, the experience was fine, but there are several things I’d like to point out.

The food itself tasted great, however the side portions were much smaller then what we were presented during our tasting. Also, we had a second vegetarian dish for some of our guests and the servers were not giving those guests the correct plate initially.

We were told that the water would be filled prior to the reception, however when the ceremony was finished we came to the reception hall and the waters were not filled. Furthermore, we were then told that everyone, including the head table, would have to get their own water. More annoying then anything, given the fact that our ceremony was in the Texas heat.

My brother, the best man, was not given a plate while everyone else at the head table had been plated. I had to ask not once, not twice, but three times for a plate to be brought over.

Again, overall the experience was alright and our guests did agree that the food itself was good. If I had to make an assessment, I’d say that they are simply adequate and don’t expect top notch service.
