Paul's Auto Repair

Paul saved our trip to a doctor’s appointment in Minnesota. Our air conditioner pump failed, sparked and nearly caught on fire in our driveway as we were leaving for our trip. Paul agreed to come to our rural home, and replace the pump there, because our RV was undrivable. He was familiar and knowledgeable with our Mercedes engine. He replaced the pump and belt, recharged the system and checked all belts and function. He was kind and understanding of our situation. His fees were fair and reasonable. He had to travel and he made this repair after normal business hours. We were grateful for his service and we were able to leave for our appointment at Mayo Clinic. We drove for 32 hours to our destination with a perfectly performing engine. We would recommend him for any engine or auto repair.

We had an excellent experience with Paul. Our transmission stopped working 2 hours into our 5 hour drive. Paul fit us into his schedule that day, ran diagnostics, ordered parts and had us back on the road the very next day. He even gave us a ride to a motel and was very generous and friendly with us. His repair rate was fair and we were able to finish our trip trouble free! We are very grateful for his service! Highly recommend his business.

Incredible sevice from Paul. I recently had my transmission serviced by another shop in preparation for a trip up to La Push, Washington. Once we got into Aberdeen my transmission started to slip and barely went into gear. We called 5 shops in town and Paul was the only one who answered. He looked at it right away even though he was backed up. It turned out the other shop didnt insert the transmission coolant tibe in the hole correctly. We ended up having to spend the night in Aberdeen. Paul was nice enough to drive us to the hotel and even let us drive his car around while he was working on our car. The town of Aberdeen is lucky to have an honest mechanic like Paul

I had originally taken my truck to Early Tire and I had thought that they could handle actual mechanic related work. They proved to me how they handled us and the situation and with what they did to our truck, that they're nothing but a tire, lube and oil stop and not much else.
We really needed help.
Paul did such a great job and he made it clear as to what was really wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. He not only gave us 3 different quotes to truly help our wallet but when he was done he made sure it checked all the boxes and was safe and reliable. He even fixed a few things that the previous owner had caused without being asked to and didn't charge me for it.
Paul has a long history with working on not only cars but race cars as well. So if there's an issue and I'm in need of a great mechanic, I'd go to Paul first before anyone else. He's a great guy and a great mechanic.

Wow! I'm super impressed with the efficiency and quality of this shop! Paul got me in for an alternator replacement the morning after I called. Shortly after starting the job he noticed a valve cover gasket leak and called me with a very reasonable estimate to replace it along with my fouled spark plugs. He finished everything the same day! In addition, he inspected the entire vehicle and made a list of things that need to be repaired. Now I have my car back on the road and peace of mind, knowing what repairs to expect in the near future and that I can take them to Paul for speedy, reliable service!

I was in Washington from Colorado due to a death in my family. My brakes started grinding while I was up there. Called Paul. He set up my appointment for the next day, said it would take about an hour to fix, and quoted a price. It took about an hour and he charged me what he said he would. He also did a little extra for me that went above and beyond regular customer service. My brakes are great! They worked in sun, rain, snow, sleet, and coming down from high elevation (The Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70 is over 11,000 ft above sea level) I got home safely and without any brake issues. Thank you, Paul!

Paul got my vehicle the next day. I needed a new water pump, belts & thermostate. Great quality and very professional.
