Very scenic. Mother nature at her best constant changing weather. Beware take some waterproof and cold protection clothing as it does really get cold. Rain is intermittent and seriously heavy at times

Highely crowded even during week days, big market is arround, mosque is there to pray near market...... gents washrooms near mosque and ladies toilet in market, parking is good, chair lift is present costs economically but you will enjoy and take a round..... tracks are made properly and with wooden bridges and charcoal. Its a must visit place.....

Wadi Hali: Ancient Trade Route
Throughaut history, the great cliffs and deep wadis
of the escarpment have been a major barrier to
transportation. Caravans could climb over the es
carpment in only a few Maces. One such route.
came up the Wadi Hali, seen below, and crossed
over the rim near this spet. Even today, only a few
roads connect the Red Sea coastal plain with Abha
and the high farming region of the Asir.

You are missing out if you haven’t visited this place until now. While staying in Abha lookout for a day with grey clouds near the mountains as this is when you have to go there otherwise it will just be a normal journey. The moment you see grey clouds in the horizon take your car and go to Soudah and make sure you take everything with you as you wouldn’t want to waste your time buying food etc. they have sitting area in the wildlife area of the mountains and they are pretty functional. Highly recommended for families as the kids will love the clouds, especially when you walk through them.

The weather was really great. Even though we went on at noon time it was still a perfect view. You are at the peak of the mountain viewing the realm of the valley. Things to improve next time is for people to lay there to have some decent park, or shaded thing to relax and enjoy more.
