A great place for a walk. Entrance is free for family card holders. Parking is limited in the area. Not available at the entrance. 2 routes to walk. Black for the adventurous and fit. Red more for younger children. The castle is a sport in history, untouched and fully available to roam around. Tours in Polish are available. A must is a walk up the tower. And a challenge as very cramped and almost no lighting. Incredible views from the top. Restaurant inside if you want a quick drink.

The views from the tower are incredible. You can see everything in many kilometers. It is really worth to visit!!

Staying in karpacz, we had to go and see this beautiful medieval castle 🏰 once you have parked your car it's a nice steady walk up the hill, be careful there are two routes you can take 😀, the castle itself is magnificent, some 600 years old and was never conquered, a must visit if your near karpacz.

Beautiful late-medieval castle, with outstanding view from the highest tower.

Very nice place. First - small entry fee to get into the protected area. Then about 2,1 km long walk uphill, steep but pawed, couple places for rest equipped with recycling bins. Finally the ruins, neat. Small fee to enter. Great view. Cool place to see. Traditional Restaurant. Obviously very popular place.

I dont understand why we have to pay entrance to the castle even if we pay entrance to park. Best of all is that after 3h you go up is no possible to pay with card. Take cash 10zl/person

Nice 45min-1h hike up to the castle. Take the black trail up (you will pass by a cave. If you are brave enough you can even go through it to continue your journey. Take a flashlight with you.). And the red one to get back down.

Wonderful castle. One of the best in Poland. You have to go up, but it’s rewarding. View is fantastic. Castle is simple and interesting. Entrance fee is ok, only 7 pln per person.
