We were very happy with the experience of renting a car here, and if we come back to Jelenia Gora and want to rent a car again this is definitely the place we will go.
I had a quick look on the Internet, in English, for car rental before we flew to Poland. I must be honest and say I can't remember now if I was looking at car rental in Jelenia Gora but there wouldn't have been much point in looking elsewhere. After we arrived in Jelenia Gora my wife, who speaks Polish, rang Wypożyczalnia samochodów and told me the price for a day's rent of the cheapest car, a Renault Twingo. It was so much lower than the prices I had seen on the Internet that I was worried that there might be a catch somewhere. However, we agreed to rent the car. I checked round it and noticed there was one place where there were a lot of scratches. I asked about this and the guy wrote something on the rental agreement, which (so my wife said) acknowledged the scratches. It was raining at that time. We rented the car and it was fine. When we came to return the car the next day, I saw to my considerable disquiet that there was a place on the back of the car which had a bit of a dent, and some of the paint had actually flaked off: I must have missed this in the rain the previous day. When we returned the car I was quite worried that we might be charged for this (particularly given the low cost of the rental) but in fact there was no problem and our deposit was returned in full.
They owner and his assistant were friendly and helpful, and overall I was very happy with the experience.
I asked (via my wife) whether it would be possible for people who didn't speak Polish to rent a car. I was told that it was, although I'm not quite sure how that would work, as I don't think they speak any English: presumably they have Internet access so at a pinch you could communicate via Google Translate.

Dla mnie wypożyczalnia jest bardzo w porządku. Zadzwoniłem wczoraj wieczorem, bo moje auto ostatnio strajkuje i wypadło mi coś ważnego we Wrocławiu. Wypożyczyłem czerwone Audi A3 1.6 (benzyna) - w innych wypożyczalniach zazwyczaj nie da się nic wypożyczyć z dnia na dzień. Autko ma 20 lat, ale trzyma się całkiem dobrze (technicznie nawet bardzo dobrze), bez problemu przejechałem z Jeleniej Góry do Wrocławia, tam się trochę pokręciłem i wróciłem.
Obsługa była miła i nie robiła mi problemów, nawet jak spóźniłem się parę minut z oddaniem auta. Do tego bardo korzystna cena.

Wypożyczyłem auto w listopadzie. Człowiek który odebrał telefon nie powinien wogole mieć żadnego kontaktu z klientami. Czytając inne opinie na Google, widze że nie jestem pierwszy którego tak potraktowano. Niegrzeczny, z pretensjami że wogole do niego dzwonię. Samochód był tak brudny jakby nigdy nie był czyszczony. Chcieli mnie naciągnąć na dodatkowe 100 pln bo zle obliczyli godziny wynajmu a jak wyszło że to ich pomyłka to nawet nie usłyszałem przepraszam. Jak bardzo trzeba być głupim aby tak traktować swojego klienta?

Zadzwonilem około 21go grudnia i zamówiłem samochód na trzy dni. 24go około 11 rano zadzwoniłem aby zapytać się o coś i odebrał mężczyzna który zaczął mi robić wyrzuty i miał pretensje że dzwonię do niego w wigilię. Teksty typu "dzisiaj jest wigilia, Ciebie to nie interesuję? " prawda jest taka że nie, nie interesuję bo odebrałeś człowieku służbowy telefon i z mordą wyskakujesz do klienta? Albo nie odbieraj albo zmień pracę skoro ta Ci nie odpowiada. Anulowałem całe zamówienie i wynająłem auto w VivaCar, też w Jeleniem Górze, dostałem samochód z 2017 roku, że zniżką i z uśmiechem na twarzy pani która mi to auto wypożyczyła. Naprawdę nie polecam KAREN, nie dość że auta nadają się na złom i dlatego są o parę groszy tańsze, to w dodatku chamidło przy telefonie. Mam nadzieję że ktoś to przeczyta i pomyśli zanim odda swoje pieniądze gburom którzy wyporzyczają niebezpieczne stare auta. Proszę poczytać inne recenzje, i podjąć słuszną decyzję.

Very helpful staff, and friendly too. Helped a great deal when my friend and I needed a car. They couldn't offer the one we needed so they rented us a better one for the price of the cheaper one.

It was a pleasant trip between the mountains that we wanted to visit and even though we exceeded the kilometers limit, we didn't have to pay for it because we returned the car in a perfect shape :)
