Maluso plaza....central plaza I will say...it is in this palce where the mamayan of maluso will held most of their occations be it fiesta, hariraya or school celebrations. Spacious enough to accommodate half of the population at one time....I got some beautiful memories here way back to 80's. The plaza is surrounded by huge mahogany trees and 100 years old narra trees with romantic benches underneath that provide shades for people who came in to unwind or just simply for time passing ...this makes the plaza looks fascinating and beautiful. Surrounding the plaza lies the office for water cooperative, electric cooperative the baranggay hall, the public sport court and of course the maluso central elementary school my alma mater.

I love Maluso because it's the place where I was born, went for grade and secondary school. Maluso is situated in north west of Basilan a southern province in the Philippines. In this place you will find different native people living in one community like Tausog, Yakan, Sama and Chavano.
