An excellent historic site. Trails, signs and museum are well maintained. Provides a good sense of what those who fought in the Chaco War went through. Well worth a visit.

Very nice museum and site with several interesting artifacts from the war. All the family loved seeing everything there and walking the trail.

To get in the museum you have to go ask the encargado to open it. He will not come to you and is kind of harsh, nor helpful.

There is a map of the site out on the middle of the main yard. Good to go see that first before walking the trail along the trenches. The trail is about 3 to 4 km.

(Translated by Google) It's the first time I went to this historical site, it's clean and well kept, too bad the museum was closed.

(Translated by Google) About 40 minutes from Filadelfia. Access is via a dirt road.
You should follow the signs. You drive straight towards it.
Camping is possible.
Don't expect anything spectacular, but the place is beautiful-especially in the evenings. And it's an important place in Paraguay's history. So definitely go there.

Also unbedingt hinfahren.
