A great small museum of classic art. Features a collection of paintings by European and Paraguayan artists. Open on weekdays. No entry fee.

A lovely small museum with collections of European and local artists.
It's free so if you are in the area it's definitely worth a visit.

Definitely worth a visit. Lovely, private collection of European art and of those European artists who traveled to Paraguay and painted vistas and scenes of Paraguay. Includes busts of bronze and marble stands with 6 distinct rooms. There is a book at the entrance that thoroughly explains the pieces in the museum. The entrance is on eligio Ayala, not mariscal Lopez.

Even if it has a very small collection it's a really nice place. The people that work there are super welcoming and are very helpful

Small place for a National Museum. If you want to have a guide, go in early hours or you'll be left out.
