Ilyasi Masjid

If you are visiting Abbottabad or near Abbottabad you should visit ilyasi masjid. It is among the oldest landmarks in the City. Famous for is natural spring water which ran through the masjid during certain period of the Year. If it happens that you are visiting the masjid pakorra also very famous.

I wish we could see the original lake that was in front of the mosque. Overall, it’s a neat mosque that is on the foot of the mountain. A bit sad to see the water was not clean.

Very beautiful masjid with fresh water pond. Vast covered and open area. Very neat and clean healthy atmosphere for prayer.

Ilyasi mosque is a very large mosque build about 100 years ago and it’s a great piece of art with some natural fountains ⛲️ and streams of water under the mosque which is running from years its amazing art

Great place to visit take soft chappal as the floor is wet on ground and very cold .Don't go on Fridays if u are a tourist. Avoid prayers time 11 in morning is good .pakoras outside r a must but if heading to chairlift don't overstuff yourself .

Must Place to visit whenever you get a chance to go to Abbottabad. Lovely place and amazing environment. Especially go to top hill and get a glimpse of the mountains (Landscape View) Its Surreal. Also try the Pakoras with their special Chatni they serve with them. So Good 😊❤️

A historic wonder with the natural flow of water underneath. Every time I visit Abbottabad I make sure to visit this mosque. It has a special aroma in its air and taste of minerals in its water. You will be lucky to visit with high water volumes. It has a grandeur in the morning and a majestic look at night. A must visit.

It was pleasure to see Ilyasi Masjid again. Every time one enjoy to see the freshening spring water flowing through out the year. An old and historical Masjid and should not miss its visit, while visiting Abbottabad.
