Perfect spot for photo shoots and family time...
People need to keep places like these clean and greeen... Awareness and Keeping people up-to-date with the ongoing renovations and other such stuff is be highly recommend.

Serene environment and beautiful scenery.. The newly renovated park is a good step towards upgradtion by the District Management.

Upon my recent visit to Abbottabad, some people told me to visit this place and I thought it must be a good experience but it wasn't actually the case. Although the place is clean and well built but it isn't maintained as it should have been. When you reach at the top where one can see the whole Abbottabad city/valley, trees block your way and you can hardly see anything down there. Other than the view, there's nothing much except for some swings and benches for you to sit. As I visited in the last week of March, so it was a bright sunny day and it wasn't a good idea to sit in open daylight. Then I decided to come down and noticed some cages but they were all empty for an unknown reason. Then before leaving the place I decided to have something to eat and ordered an anda shami for myself and chana chat for my wife. Both the items were below average and I ate my burger because I was hungry while my wife left the chana chat. So it was all done in almost 1 hour and I did not find the place attractive. Overall an average experience. 5/10

Great views of the valley. It does take a bit to drive up but it’s worth it. I hope the people who come here can preserve this place. While we were there, we say AC/DC checking vaccination status as well

Shimla Pahari Park is well designed and beautiful public place in Abbottabad to visit. It has excellent view of Abbottabad City. It has spacious terraces with sitting arrangement. Has sufficient parking for the visitors.

Took a day excursion from Islamabad to Abbotabad exclusively for visit to Shimla Pahari. It was a good experience , the park itself is in better shape. Although it requires maintenance in few places but overall it is in a much better shape than most recreational locations.
The views and walk options are amazing. You can also walk to the hill top. It's not a hike all the way, more of a casual stroll with very less climb towards the end.
The city views are quite relaxing, and it gives a complete view of the city. There are special spots for city views. Other picnic/ sitting points are scattered all across the park with designated places for BBQ as well.
If anyone hasn't visited this place in few years, you should definitely come back . You wouldn't be disappointed with the facilities available now.
The food options are sadly very very limited. With just one working canteen, and that too covers snacks .

With the time and after beautification project of abbottabad this area has suddenly been enhanced beyond the expected standards still there need some security measures to enhance more of a safe & a natural healthy environment. Every time you visit the place you will find a new experience, a place to visit in short, THE BEST VIEW OF THIS CITY CAN BE SEEN OVER FROM THERE.
