Synagogue Peitav Shul - Riga

A beautiful synagogue It felt very peaceful wandering around. Nice and bright with tasteful decor. It's tucked away in the old town, but worth a visit. It costs 3euros to enter the building.

No experience, unfriendly guard keeps tourists away. Would not even answer a question about when it opens.

Beautiful place. Very clean. Old books from the end of 1800's. Costs 3 euros or half price to students and school children

Lovely Art Nouveau place of worship dating from 1905. Clean lines, beautiful stained glass. Worth a visit ( closed Saturdays)

Entry 3 euro is little for this place. On the other hand there is no info written inside, you have to ask someone inside, or read about before. They are fluent in English and Hebrew..

Disappointing for members of the Jewish community they are charging
To visit. Unfriendly attendant. Also if you do actually want to go even after, bring cash as this synagogue is Still in medieval times accepting cash only.

Beautiful art nouveau synagogue still in use. Absolutely worth the visit.

Beautiful and hospitable place with great heritage. Thanks to the Riga Jewish community the place is well preserved maintained and most importantly alive.
