I spent a long time here buying souvenirs for my family and friends.
Both the staff were genuine, friendly and talkative. They were happy to help and explain the significance of things in the store to me, such as the meanings of the Latvian symbols.
I spent more money than I intended but the gifts are lovely and all made in Latvia by local artists.
I have fond memories of being in this store and wish the passionate staff all the best.

There is a real Latvian home feeling! This is my favourite shop in a Old Town!!! I'm coming there with all my friends who are coming to visit Riga. There is a huge choice of different souvenirs and gifts. Mostly thinks are handmade from leather, ceramic, wood and silver. Staff is friendly and very helpful!!! In the background is playing nice Latvian music. Working hours are brilliant. So 5 stars and 100% recommendations to come there!

Miss Maja is the best souvenir store in Latvia. There are so many items that can be bought here that are unusual or unique that just can't be found in other stores. YOU MUST GO DOWNSTAIRS. The wine cellar is beautiful and an amazing part of the history of Riga. The owner of the store was so nice and accomdating for me and my other visitors when I returned for a second shopping expedition. Great time had by all

Lovely shop for authentic locally made goods. Some beautiful hand made items. The shop owners / staff were very friendly and insightful! It was like being in a mini museum as they told us all about Latvian symbols (fire-cross etc) and Latvian culture. Thank you for one of my favourite experiences in Riga! I will definitely be back next time!

Really nice shop with local souvenirs, not the usual cinese stuff. Here the souvenir are made by hand. They are a little expensive, but at least you get something really local.
