Good quality hotel with excellent location. Very friendly staff. Big rooms and everything was very clean. Recommended for a weekend in Riga.

We stayed in hotel 2 times and both times enjoyed staying there. Excellent breakfast where all our 3 children could find something they like ( omelet, porridge, fruits, vegetables, cottage cheese). Rooms are big and enough space for big families. Historical building looks like palace and it is also exciting. The only one negative moment: we really needed parking and booked it at hotel’s website but both times there was refuse from reception team about parking place despite of the booking.

Amazing, beautiful and clean hotel with perfect room service and stuff. I enjoyed my stay in a stunning room with air conditioning which is super important to me.

I will definitely choose this hotel for a next stay in Riga. The location is also perfect, a lot to see within walking distance.

Avoid this hotel if you value cleanliness. Without going into graphic detail, we found a very (!) dirty toilet, that was not cleaned after the previous occupant. Coupled with a stained towel. The reception did not apologise or even send anyone immediately when we mentioned this, moreover housekeeping didn't even show up the next day.
When we asked to borrow an iron for 8am, the staff woke us at 7am. The room was spacious but the only place to dry towels is directly above said toilet. The receptionist on the night of 20 August was wearing a bikini top and was clearly bothered by our questions.
Breakfast was decent, although no sweet gluten free or vegan options, and we did not find any plant-based milk on display.

An absolutely beautiful hotel inside and out. Very reasonably priced. Located across from the most beautiful park I have ever seen. Could spend all day walking in this park. Hotel is located in an area with the most ornate buildings I have ever seen. Riga is beautiful city but it does rain off an on throughout the day. Our room was comfortable and had enough space for two occupants. Our room overlooked the park but the only draw back was the park maintenance crew started around 5:30 am. Lots of leaf blowers and lawn care equipment running. The breakfast was basic and pretty good. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The place is well maintained and has nice interior. Rooms are comfortable. Room service quick to respond. Location is pretty central and feels safe. The cafe/restaurant area is in a walking distance. Superb breakfast.

Our first stay at Hotel Monika. Everything was tip top from reception to room, hot breakfast every morning, convenient store across the street, sauna. The park across the street leads to the old town just 20 minutes walk 🚶. Our taxi 🚖 was on time when we left and we will be staying there again next time we visit Riga.
