Gan bei - Spice

One of worst experience in this chain of restaurants. We arrived to Resturant 8:30pm and ordered 3 small dishes including the sushi dish. However sushi dish came 9:30pm. No body said to us it would be late just in case they are busy.

Dish, worst hot Philadelphia sushi ever ate, It came very cold, rice was dropping, very small size, all sushi portions as seen stuck together as one body, you barely can take one sushi from big mess. Also worth mentioning that you need microscope to see the fish and ingredients.

we left 9:45 since Resturant closing 10 pm.
Besides that, while paying the waiter barley opened her mouth and after we payed abd said thank you for hosting, no answer was given, she simply turn us her back and moved fast without even welcome.

As usual, everyday, Latvian Resturants/ shops or service providers are proving they know nothing called customer service or catering. Wish they could behave better :/

Tragic service!
One of the employees showed us where to sit down, then ignored us for the next 30 min, we had to go get the menus ourselves! Then we waited additional 15-20 min before someone noticed that we were ready to order! Once we ordered the food came rather quick!
After I tasted it, it was cold and wet, I got the feeling that, the food was heated in a microwave for short time and then brought to us!

I don't know what happened to those raging bulls who's putting low scores for this place here on Google. They need to take it easy. I've been eating here for many many years and I keep coming back due to a number of reasons:
Nice service (can be a bit too slow when the place is packed);
Nice interiors;
Good location;
And the most important - AMAZING FOOD!

I will keep coming back for more! These whiners in the comments need to chill out.

Pathetic service.
First no one attends to you or answer your greeting, then give you menus and tells they can't take your order for another 5 minutes and to top it all off after you have decided what to order they let you know food will take 40 minutes.

Table was not clean when we have placed.
More than 20 min before our meals arrived, and it was cold.
Unfortunately the restaurant is loosing the quality.

The restaurant has a good location within Spice shopping center, however the food is quite average. There is a wide choice of different dishes of different meats, as well as sushi sets, and it was satisfying enough. The waiting time quite long, we were informed that we had to wait at least 50 min for the foods arrival. Overall, it’s a good/average place.

Very nice place! The food is really good, and the interior design is very cool. The waiting time was a bit long but the food was worth it!

Friendly but overworked staff. No front of house. Food was slow but good quality.
