We have been meaning to visit Ferma for ages but finally came for the Restaurants Week menu. Wow. We haven’t often been blown away by RW set menus in other venues but Ferma’s was exceptionally good. We ate in a Michelin restaurant in Paris a few weeks ago and this was even better, so a huge recommendation from us and applause for the work of the chef! 👏🏻 the first course was particularly good - beautifully plated and an exquisite combination of textures and flavours! Our table service was also of a very high standard, and it makes a difference when they are genuinely enthusiastic about the food 😄

Update:

We went for the business lunch for the 2nd time.
Bread: I love the freshly made focaccia 👍

Starter: chowder fish soup, it is also very tasty with a generous amount of fish.

Main: Mushroom pasta with sun-dried tomato which is a nice touch and surprisingly goes together very well. However, another main dish - pork with potatoes is disappointed, the pork is hard and dry it's overcooked.

Dessert: Ummmm another disappointing dessert, with the ice cream tasting like the cheapest ice cream from the supermarket.

Service: the service today is very good, the waiters are nice and kind.

Overall, I would say it is 3.5 rather than 4 stars for a google review. You can have a nicer meal in Riga for this price.

Went for the business lunch, 3 courses for 15 Eur, including water and bread. Overall it was a nice experience, the environment and seats are comfortable. The main dish is good but not amazing; a bit disappointed for the dessert- is way too sour. The service is also mediocre, you would expect more for this kind of restaurant.

Staff - 5 out of 5 - very friendly, qualified and welcoming. 🤍
Environment - 4,3 out of 5 - tasteful, cozy, comfy. It’s not complete 5, because of personal taste 👅
Wine selection- tried quite basic wine which was really good. But have seen some really good wines on the menu. For every taste you will find something! 5 out of 5.
Food - 4,6 out of 5 - tried asparagus salad, cucumber soup, duck and honey cake. Every dish - wonderful! Complements to the chef!!!! Cannot give 5 because I’m a foodie - searching for exceptional combinations of tastes, colors and unexpected twists. But food was really really really good🤍 respect!

Amazing food and space! All the dishes were beautifully served and the quality was very high! My colleague had surf and turf and that also looked amazing! Definitely recommend this place!

Our dinner was cancelled last minute at the restaurant next door (John) but Ferma provided an exceptional meal. Adina was our waitress who delivered impeccable service and perfect English. This is a delicious restaurant that should not be missed when in Riga

Love this restaurant! Everything was delicious. Both starters - seafood plate and deer tartar were super tasty and very nicely served. And steak was the best in my life.
Highly recommend this place.

Can't say enough positive things about this place.

The wait staff was phenomenal, super friendly and very helpful and full of fun information, really went above and beyond.

The semi-outdoor seating was delightful in the summer, well decorated and full of golden light.

And the food.... the food was all fantastic. Every course was better than the last and each bite was delicious. There wasn't a thing out of place on the dishes and to end with the house special dessert (strawberry and rose petal meringue, lemon cream and an almond cake) really finished off the night well. When we left we were not too stuffed, but so satisfied and couldn't stop raving about how good it had all been. Can't recommend highly enough!

Visited on November and place was cold. Ordered two different lamp main courses, we asked medium cooked yet rare cooked arrived. Food arrived after 40 min and was cold (fat frozen cold), requested to warm up (they offered to prepare new but we did not had time) when came back half was still cold.
