Super-pleasant place right by the sea with tons of charm. I think they hit a jackpot with the interior design here, which really makes you feel cozy and at home. There are some real old-school Latvian magazines, all sorts of detail items and even a little dog who may visit you at your table.

Food didn't disappoint either. Soup (If you pick Borscht it is prepared on a wooden fire, outside by the entrance!) was great and so were the main dishes. Portion size of both was quite generous, even if you have walked up some appetite after walking by the sea. Everything felt fresh and was seasoned and prepared just right.

Will visit again for sure.

Strangely enough, ordering only one meal is really a hassle. Was looked down upon from cashier by sighing, rolling eyes and negative voice tone. Got really terrible attitude and for what? I was with girlfriend and we couldn't decide what to take for a quick fix. Nobody was behind us in queue and it took couple minutes to order. That's it. Food arrived after 10 - 15 min.

Wouldn't advise to go there if you're gonna order just one meal. Food was fine, but the customer service is beyond horrible, in my opinion. Promenade, please, step up your game!

Lovely place. Shashlik is one of the best, meat is so juicy and smoked as it should be. Awaiting time 40 min. Pleasant stay, the waitress is very nice also!

Food is fine but not customer friendly at all. First time in my life I was blaming for ordering "Just a cup of coffee and desert". Can't imagine that kind of attitude doing my job or treating customers this way. Very disappointed indeed.

Excellent service, great meal, served like in 5 star hotel but surprisingly not expensive at all. Good beer, also non-alcoholic and lemonade.

The shashlik was really delicious. The meatballs were okay. By default the portions don't have salads included unless it's written in the menu.
There are no freshly squeezes juices available.
