Decent DIY store. Not the biggest selection, but most essentials are there. On the upside is easy to park and it's never too busy. On the downside you can be forced to wait a good while for a staff member.

A pretty good hardware store. Smaller than some alternatives in the city but it's located in a good location. You can find most things you would expect in a hardware store. Prices and quality are decent. Service can be on the slow side sometimes

Place is a very good location for quick purchases for your electric/furniture/renovation/plumbing needs. Staff is hit or miss, sometimes I get very nice people, sometimes I wish I went to the store 8 km away from this (It's Depo in Berģi...). The main negative is the variety of stock, which is kinda understandable due to the size of the store, still I think there is more room for diversity.

A total lack of staff, so had to wait for all things - getting stuff from the warehouse and paying afterwards.

Not very easy to get a hold of any workers to ask questions, but - at least there were some very helpful and knowledgeable clients, who stepped up and helped us. Thanks !

Once it was good place to found everything you need but with times the quality became poor and service is horrible. Go there is your own risk and don't expect that you find anything specific or use full. Good luck in searching

One of the most unwelcoming experiences I had in my life. I almost got kicked out of the store for trying to speak English with the cashier. A lady in her fifties, blonde, married. I get close to her (while wearing the mask) and slowly, kindly ask "Hello, I was looking for..." when she abruptly turns her head away from me and boldly says something in Latvian. Before me, she was speaking Russian with other customers. I could only understand "tu valoda", so I assumed she said "I don't speak your language", all of this while not looking at me. Unfortunately I am still in the process of learning Latvian. I needed wood for the bonfire, so I said "malka, koks, please", pointing at the logs on the shelf. She repeated the same sentence, immovable, still not looking at me. It felt like she was talking to an invisible person next to me, pretending I wasn't there. Then, I saw an assistant next to the shelf. I reach for her, say "Please, I need malka, koks, wood", pointing at the logs. The first lady (the rude one, at the counter) shouts something at the assistant. I can only pick "valoda". The assistant is about to walk away from me when I say "Lūdzu, I need malka, koks". She asks how many bags, I say "divi", she takes the money, gives me the receipt, all without looking at me. I say "paldies". No answer, keeps staring at the keyboard. They have this system where you pay for goods like wood bags at the counter, then reach for the warehouse outside with the receipt and get the actual goods. Store is nice but get yourself an interpreter for when you reach the counter, you never know.
