This is a very interesting museum with furniture, clothes and other personal items of the merchants of the previous century.

An old merchants house in Riga, with various antiques from time. Was a pleasant visit.

House museums are one my favorite things to see while traveling, and Mentzendorff was a great find. It only costs a few euros to get in (or you can buy the 24 hour combo ticket for this, Riga History and Navigation, and the Museum of Photography for just €8). Nice setup, and great staff - I was pretty much alone in the place, and one of the ladies came over to demonstrate the future telling witch thing (you'll see). Very cool place - gorgeous walls and ceilings, and a nice way to see how a certain class lived in the city. Estimate 30 minutes to an hour to see the whole thing.
