before my movie, some dude came out and hosted a 21 question long marvel game show, all in latvian. there were 200 people participating, winner got a bag of chips. waited almost 1h for thor: love and thunder (which is a solid 7.5/10, but that’s a review for another day), legit 11/10 movie experience.
the girl next to me had popcorn that smelt rly good, if you come, get the popcorn! theatre is huge, also has a pick n mix which looked great.

Probably the best cinema in Rīga - and maybe even Latvija - offering a good variety of movies and a broad selection of snacks and drinks. My (Latvian) girlfriend and I have had several cosy and good cinema experiences here and are looking forward to the next one.

Will sell tickets no matter what. No age checks or advice unlike in the UK. No own food or drinks allowed, clearly profits before customers. Maybe see how Odeon does it or other advanced countries where customers feel valued.

Overall experience is extremely unpleasant….Feeled like in jail - must show ticket BEFORE actually you enter the building….Ticket office closed….Upstairs the shop’s cash descs closed… Staff is unfriendly and extremely unprofessional.
Askedbfor popcorn combo price - girl told me 5.xx EUR, ok!Took combo.And guess what?!The actual price was allmost 10EUR - this girl never understood the question about combo!

seats were not very comfortable as usual and by my bad only seats in second row were available the space between the screen and place from the sitting area starting was too close to the screen. I watched a lot of movies in different countries but here i experienced that i am watching movie on a low quality screen with very low refresh rate and pixel quality. Lastly a plus point..... it is very affordable.

My husband and I weren’t planning to see a movie on vacation, but this is absolutely the most spectacular movie experience I’ve ever had. It was like a movie shopping mall with the biggest movie food selection I’ve seen in my life. If I ever get to go back to Riga, I would go again.

20 minutes of ads and trailers after the scheduled beginning time? Are you greedy or mad there guys? Yes, the cinema itself is cool. But who will compensate my and my wife’s wasted time which also costs money?
