I have seen almost all of the offered performances and all i can say, it is the best alternative to the big theatres in Riga. Very selective and high standard content and good actors. Possibility to see out of the box type of shows.

Absolutely amazing show. I learnt so much about Latvian culture and history.
If you want something more than simply the “touristy” experience of Latvia I would recommend attending Tanas Dzimsanas Diena and enjoying the interactive cultural experience. There was so much emotion during this show; laughter, tears, reverence, nostalgia. I feel that it did justice to the complex history of Latvia.
Thanks to a young lady called Gunita, who provided me with an English guide to the play so that I could enjoy the show even with limited Latvian.

Visited one of the theater plays. Very good show. Has a nice underground feel to it. On second floor you are able to leave your coats and sit down for a drink or two. You are able to order some coffee. Third floor is the theater room with a small stage. It feels really cosy and you have a great feeling enjoying the show together with a bunch of other people. There are not a lot of seeds and all of them where sold out. This makes the play feel much more personal. It's a bit of hipsterish place, but you might enjoy it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the venue. The rundown look and healthy attitude from the staff was refreshing and pleasant. As the looks did not matter.
