Splendid Palace

It's worth a visit just to see the neo rococo interior of this gorgeous building. And it's a great place to see art house films or have a glass of wine with some tapas in a cafe downstairs.

First time visited this cinema. It is exceptionally beautiful building on the inside with exquisite design. Building is being maintained at the perfect condition, everything looks very nice.
This cinema is special in a way, that here are shown Latvian movies, movie festivals, art-house movies and non mass market films.
If you are a fan of these kind of movies in a theater like atmosphere, that is a place for you.

Dsr annual day celebration held there..a calm place at the center of city.

There were around 250 children and their parents.
Felt a bit less of space at the entrance where meal was served.Apart from that all shines

You just have to see this historical movie theater to fall in love with it! It's so beautiful, I can't describe! And movies shown there are worth to see!

Impressive the historical cinema 🎦 , extra class

Very comfortable and lovely place, commonly used for different types of shows, located at the centre of Riga. On a yearly basis, it's one of cinemas hosting Manhattan's Short. Could be hard to find parking nearby during popular events here.

Old money cinema , great for festivals not many new films there definitely check for atmosphere

Lives up to the name Splendid. Wonderful, historical cinema with two screens. A must visit for any cinema lover visiting Riga.
