New Riga Theatre

This is the new / temporary building while the original is under construction. Looking forward to that very much! Meanwhile I treat this place as temporary. But otherwise performances are good, staff friendly and quite tasty cafes for the pause :)

It's a place even non-theatre people would enjoy. Perfect place to indulge yourself in an experience to grow a a human being.

An amazing theatre that makes you want to implement art Info your daily life. I really enjoyed the play I watched. The actors did great and the plot was intriguing as well. This theater has a rather cool and chill vibe, you don't feel the pressure to wear a ball gown (like in more conservative places like opera). They often have offers, like discount with an Isic card. Can't wait to visit this awesome place again.

The best that the Latvian theatre world has to offer - in temporary premises, yes, and still as excellent as ever.

This theatre has to do something with capacity or ticket prices. It's always sold out and not possible to buy anything within next 3 months, specially for most popular directors and actors. It's big shame! I am expecting to plan 1 months infront.

Please can theater do something about it? Maybe get a big space, so more people can come?

There is the temporary place for JRT, which building under construction. But all were well equiped by light sound and air conditioning.
Unfortunately it's hard to get tickets because of popularity.
Public car parkings available on streets in 200-300 meters distance. But jusualy occupied on 90%.

The best theatre ever! Happy about it renewing performances! Enjoyable as ever! The new actors keep the pace and they are getting better and better. Love them all!

Well organized and timely personal ID and digital vaccination certificate checks before entering the yard. Relaxed feeling thereafter with no face masks to be worn and bar operating 'as usual'.
