Kalnciema Street Market

Wonderful farmer's market a short bus ride from the old town. The people selling are the cheesemakers and farmers. They're happy to let you taste before you buy. Go early though it gets very busy.

Pretty cool sites with lots of historic wooden buildings. The market sells locally produced and handcrafted knick knacks as well as tasty local delicacies. A little bit pricy though, i bought a loaf of strawberry-jammed bread for €4.50 (thats like AU$ 7)... equivalent to Richmond market in Melbourne. Highly recommended for hippies who luv fancy artsy stuff. I actually took photos of the buildings around the market and not of the market itself, 😅😅, but you get the point.

Great place for local food, craft and clothe. Very interesting things could be found there.
Tasty ice-cream, fresh bakery, vegetables and much more. Very few tables to enjoy bought ready to eat.
Highly recommended for Saturday breakfast and grocery shopping! 🍓🍒🥒🥕🍎

Great market, happening on Saturdays till 4pm. You can get local food, quality pastries, homemade bread, cheeses, meat and vegetables from local farmers. Also, half of the place is local craft products. Prices for some goods are bit too high.

This was one of the best street markets I have been to. The smells of the fresh produce really spoke to the senses. People were friendly. I highly recommend if you are visiting Riga.

Small open market which runs on Saturdays in West Riga. It includes really interesting local products and for sure worth a visit.

Enjoy going to this Market every Saturday! Have to get my usually dose of kombucha, sourdough bread, eggs and other wonderful things.

Cool Market, with local high quality latvian and baltic products. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
