Stockmann

Has a very big food store. It has all of the international snacks you'd want. The biggest minus is how expensive everything is.

There are other stores there, but they are definitely not for teenagers. There where many jewlery stores.

A big plus would be the gluten free section. It has many options.

Nice store, it's not a mall though. For the British, this is like Fenwick/John Lewis and not an actual mall with different stores. It has high end brands. Overall it is quite nice but wouldn't visit again.

Big shopping mall with many options. But even pricier than other Stockmann stores in the Baltics!

A clothing store, which also has a grocery area on the ground floor and an electronics store in the upper level.
The stuff here is of good quality. The grocery section has a lot of niche products you can't get anywhere else in Riga.
There is also a pretty large cinema complex in the building.

Too crowded place, rarely convenient to shop. I like this place and I would be here more often if a lot of cons are eliminated. I would like to see more different products in the grocery store. Signs are not always informative.

Good variety of products, with okay prices (still a bit expensive). The main disappointment is parking policy. You have to make a purchase for at least 30 EUR AND be member of Stockmann loyalty program. Did not take my Stockmann card with me, and also did not have it downloaded as an app. It does not make sense to meet all 2 conditions to be able to get 1h free parking. Also, the parking itself in 80-90% is tricky, will require some driver skills to park without stress + there is a chance of a car queue to the parking. The parking can be paid by Mobilly, but be prepared to enter the coin number there, because the number/code sometimes hard to read.

Perfect shop, felt abit homesick, there were lots of food aus meinem Land.

Very accommodating staff in the department store.

Prices in the supermarket are more expensive compared to other grocery stores, but they have products that you cannot find anywhere else. Good quality produce and fresh meat too.
