The delivery was not without problems. It was announced for Monday and on the Thursday before (Ascension Day) an email came that delivery would take place on Friday. We were still on vacation and the date couldn't be changed.
The driver spoke no German or English and the translator app was useless in our dead zone. Luckily, the neighbor who accepted the delivery was able to persuade the driver to drive into our cul-de-sac, which he initially refused. Attention: According to the delivery conditions, he could have unloaded 300m away at the entrance to the village! You should also take seriously the information that someone has to be there to unload, as the truck did not have a lifting platform or anything similar. A real bargain for a delivery price of €714...
Unfortunately, I didn't get to set up the greenhouse right away, but of course I checked the shipment for completeness. However, I overlooked the small asterisk in the assembly instructions that the supplied screws are not suitable for the material thickness of our roofing. When I complained about this in October with reference to the 2-year warranty, they wrote to me that I could have complained for three months. Not any longer longer. Then nothing came. The question of how 35 millimeter long screws are supposed to hold 40mm covering without compression was not answered.
I ordered a steel foundation for €160 on the greenhouse shop page. During construction, it turned out that it did not fit the dimensions and holes in the greenhouse. A request for an accommodating arrangement was ironed out with the note that I should have asked whether the foundation (offered on one side together with the greenhouse) was compatible with the variant ordered. The reference to the shop page was no longer answered. The foundation now stands as scrap metal in a corner of the workshop.
When unpacking, I also found that Averto is not the manufacturer of the greenhouse, but purchases it from Russia. That would have been a reason for my exclusion three months after the attack on Ukraine.
The dimensional accuracy of the parts is not particularly good. The arches of the gables were 403cm and 404cm wide respectively, the other arches were well under 400cm. This leads to stresses and deformations during construction. The greenhouse sold as 600x400cm is actually 602x404cm. Luckily I didn't build the foundations until it was there.
There is no indication in the shop that it is absolutely necessary to buy end strips for the polycarbonate panels. Maybe it's because there aren't any end strips on offer for the 10mm thick covering.
The assembly instructions are very poorly done. The same component can have different names in drawings, lists and text (most of them technically incorrect). The number of cross braces can be read in one(!) drawing with three different values. The Cyrillic instructions on the Russian manufacturer's website show some details in the pictures that are simply missing in the German instructions. Those were just the highlights.
The supplier was honest about the wind resistance. The greenhouse is specified with up to 20 m/s, i.e. 72 km/h. Whether the construction can withstand this, I think is questionable. I made the construction more robust by tripling the screws to attach the roofing, adding wind brace straps, and adding metal straps across the roofing. In addition, I screwed two of the four doors that are attached with filigree hinges, which take up almost the entire gable area, to the frame.

Im Mai 2022 habe ich bei Averto ein Gewächshaus Agronom 6x4m mit 10mm Polycarbonat-Eindeckung gekauft.

Der Fahrer sprach kein Deutsch oder Englisch und die Übersetzerapp war in unserem Funkloch nutzlos. Der Nachbar, der die Lieferung annahm, konnte zum Glück den Fahrer überreden, in unsere Sackgasse rein zu fahren, was dieser zunächst verweigerte. Achtung: Laut Lieferbedingungen hätte er 300m entfernt am Ortseingang abladen können! Auch den Hinweis, dass eine Person zum Abladen da sein muss, sollte man ernst nehmen, da der Lastwagen über keine Hebebühne o.ä. verfügte. Für einen Lieferpreis von 714,-€ ein echtes Schnäppchen…
Leider bin ich nicht sofort dazu gekommen, das Gewächshaus aufzubauen, habe aber natürlich die Sendung auf Vollständigkeit überprüft. Dabei habe ich aber das kleine Sternchen in der Aufbauanleitung übersehen, dass die mitgelieferten Schrauben nicht für die Materialstärke unserer Eindeckung geeignet sind. Als ich dieses mit Hinweis auf die 2-jährige Gewährleistung im Oktober reklamierte, schrieb man mir, ich hätte drei Monate lang reklamieren können. Jetzt nicht mehr. Dann kam nichts mehr. Die Frage, wie 35 Millimeter lange Schrauben 40mm Eindeckung ohne Kompression halten sollen, wurde nicht beantwortet.
Auf der Shopseite des Gewächshauses habe ich ein Stahlfundament für 160,-€ mitbestellt. Beim Aufbau stellte sich heraus, dass es nicht zu den Maßen und Bohrungen des Gewächshauses passte. Eine Anfrage nach kulanter Regelung wurde mit dem Hinweis abgebügelt, ich hätte nachfragen müssen, ob das (zusammen mit dem Gewächshaus auf einer Seite angebotene) Fundament mit der bestellten Variante kompatibel ist. Der Hinweis auf die Shopseite wurde nicht mehr beantwortet. Das Fundament steht jetzt als Metallschrott in einer Werkstattecke.
Beim Auspacken stellte ich auch fest, dass Averto nicht der Hersteller des Gewächshauses ist, sondern dieses aus Russland bezieht. Das wäre drei Monate nach dem Angriff auf die Ukraine ein Ausschlussgrund für mich gewesen.
Die Maßhaltigkeit der Teile ist nicht sonderlich gut. Die Bögen der Giebel waren 403cm respektive 404cm weit, die anderen Bögen deutlich unter 400cm. Dadurch kommt es beim Aufbau zu Spannungen und Verformungen. Das mit 600x400cm verkaufte Gewächshaus ist tatsächlich 602x404cm groß. Zum Glück habe ich die Fundamente erst gebaut, als es da war.
Im Shop fehlt ein Hinweis darauf, dass unbedingt Abschlussleisten für die Polycarbonatplatten mitgekauft werden müssen. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass nur für die 10mm starke Eindeckung keine Abschlussleisten im Angebot sind.
Die Aufbauanleitung ist sehr schlecht gemacht. Dasselbe Bauteil hat in Zeichnungen, Listen und Text schon mal verschiedene Namen (die meisten davon fachlich falsch). Die Anzahl der Querstreben ist in einer(!) Zeichnung mit drei verschiedenen Werten ablesbar. Die kyrillische Anleitung auf der Seite des russischen Herstellers zeigt auf den Bildern einige Details, die in der deutschen Anleitung einfach fehlen. Das waren nur die Highlights.
Ehrlich war der Anbieter beim Hinweis auf die Windbeständigkeit. Angegeben ist das Gewächshaus mit bis zu 20 m/s also 72 km/h. Ob die Konstruktion dem standhält, halte ich für fraglich. Durch Verdreifachung der Schrauben zur Befestigung der Eindeckung, durch zusätzliche Windrispenbänder und durch zusätzliche Metallbänder über die Dacheindeckung habe ich die Konstruktion widerstandsfähiger gemacht. Zusätzlich habe ich von den vier mit filigranen Scharnieren angebrachten Türen, die fast die gesamten Giebelflächen einnehmen, zwei fest mit dem Rahmen verschraubt.
