Spacious and clean bedroom, bathrooms (other than female only) smell a little and are not incredibly clean. Very efficient and hot showers which was lovely. Great location, good value for money. Guests can be noisy if you're not looking to party in Riga

It’s cheap (I payed 5 euro per night), but not very comfortable. The bed was not straight, the beds were too close to each other. The windows where hardly blinded, by an orange curtain that led the light trough. The airco didn’t work, so we had to leave the windows open, but there was a lot of noise from the street. That all would have been not so bad, if only the common room had been more cosy. It has terrible white light, plastic chairs, cold floor, and white walls. But still 3 stars, because the people from the reception were friendly and they gave me some money back when I left earlier. The bathrooms and the toilets were clean. And the location is perfect.

I mean, I can't say the place is horrible. We paid peanuts, and the location is just perfect. But all the rest is just as you'd expect a cheap hostel in the city center. Noisy, wild, chaotic (in a weird yet romantic way) and full of life. I wont probably come back here, but it can allow you to save money while visiting the city's and meeting some people on the go.

On our last day in Riga we dropped our luggages to Liberty Hotel by using Radical Storage app where Liberty Hotel had many good reviews. Location is super good if you are planning to stay there!
It can look little bit shady place and for us it felt like our luggages were not in the most safest place because all the luggages are kept in the same closet and when you check-out with your luggages you literally can take any bag with you as you leave. But after all, everything went well and we are happy.

We had a good stay at Liberty Hotel in Riga. It is conveniently located in the old town, near shops, places of interest, restaurants, and fast food chains.

There are security doors, an elevator, and a common kitchen. The room itself is spacious, and has a wall of shelves like a walk-in closet.

Sandys granted us early check-in. Vinatta assisted us for check-out. Both were helpful. However, there was a lady staff whom we encountered on November 4 at 7:30pm. She was quite rude and not helpful at all when we asked about the laundry services.

Another opportunity area was that the heater wasn't turned on from the main switch. We had to request the staff at the reception to address that.

Happening location, inexpensive stay with minor compromises!

The location is as good as it can be. It's in the heart of the city. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I booked the option with breakfast, but I noticed that I'm the only person to choose breakfast during my entire stay. Since there are many restaurants and grocery shops nearby, I'd suggest to book without breakfast. Beds were comfy, the Linen was fresh. If the washrooms on 4th floor are fully occupied, you can use the ones on 5th floor. They're lesser used ones, hence tidier. The common hall area on 4th floor is the place where you can hang, chill and meet a lot of people. That area is fun and well maintained by the staff.

There were 11 beds in my 10-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room. So it felt a bit congested. On 1 day out of those 3 days (end of June 2022), the temperatures were in the high 30s with humidity, but they had only one table fan for the entire room, which was not at all sufficient. They couldn't provide another one fan. If you can, better go for a 4-bed dormitory room.
You can't open a few windows because they're locked, and they aren't supposed to unlock due to safety reasons. It can be a bit suffocating in peak summer.

It's good! Very nice place. This is both hotel and hostel. So, the price is right, not so high, not so low.

Showers are smelly and dirty. The bed sheets look like they have never been cleaned before. There’s almost no hot water and they never clean the floor as well.
