NB Hotel

The hotel was tacky and the furnishing was really out of date. The room was small and cramped with a non-existant view. There were no comforts in the room - the quality of the TV was terrible and it only had like four channels, the bed only had two small and lumpy pillows, there was a fridge in the room but it was out of order and smelled horribly. The breakfast was not good either - not a lot to choose from and bad quality food. Definately would not recommend it to anyone!

The hotel is conveniently located near main routes therefore it is popular with lorry drivers and other travellers. It has some pool tables downstairs a bar and a dining hall. The hotel is located over several buildings separated by courtyard at the back and parking space at the front. I stayed at the main building and the room was really big with a main bathroom and a separate wc. The bed was a bit of a letdown since it was not a proper bed but two folding guest beds moved together. The room was clean and in good wear condition. I would have rated this hotel better but that night I spent there it was raining and the roof guttering was leaking straight onto my room's window sill creating a loud banging noise.. I only managed to get some sleep once the rain died down.. If it is not raining you should be good.

I dont know why this place has so many stairs, everyone very friendly, the rooms are great, i slept properly and comfy. I recommend this place, not far from centrum.

A decent hotel considering the price, which is rather low compared to other hotels. Recommended if you want a cheaper hotel outside the centre of Riga.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were given a room that was not in the photos, it had no curtains, it was 35 degrees inside the room when it was 25 degrees outside but with the windows impossible to open the greenhouse effect is generated. The room was next to a street where every 5 minutes the tram passes and the walls shake. Basically the room is an oven with lighting and noise from 06:00 am.
We clearly explained this situation to the hotel staff. They responded very badly and among the justifications they said that this is what we get when we go to a "cheap" hotel.
The hotel claims to be 3* and the night cost 80 Euros.
I am writing my experience so that this does not happen to anyone else.

Hotel itself was nice and neat , main building has nice and spacious areas and large free parking is obviously a bonus . Most of the staff was good too . Im not too sure how professionally they would deal with people with mental health issues. When mines kicked in suddenly, many times stronger than usual some kept their cool ,but rest were simply laughing and whispering to each other ! Absolute disgrace to hospitality industry.

Great value for the price you pay. We stopped there for one night on our way. The family room was very spacious and had all the essentials. Very friendly staff. The only downside was the temperature in the restaurant - quite chilly.
