I would highly advise you to go to the gallery center, it has 2 different bookstores practically right next to each other! There is a Jānis Roze bookstore on the 4th floor, but it has quite a limited selection if you're looking for Latvian books or fiction. Also a small batch of Latvian books. However, next to it, there is a "Globuss" and it is much better and closer to the train station, I recommend it, it has a much wider selection than the Jānis Roze parallel to it. And also a larger selection of Latvian books and just books overall. The one I went to was quite focused on kids, with backpacks, kids' coloring books, and supplies for kids. It was a bit of a letdown since it's so big I was expecting a wider array of books, so if you're looking for supplies [especially for kids] I encourage you to this location, however if you're looking for books then I would higly recommend the galary centre! When you exit the H&M store you will see the bookstore "Globuss", but if you want to get to it only go through the H&M exit because if you go out of a diffrent exit you will be confused and get lost! If you're a regular there then you're lucky, if not ONLY go through the H&M exit! The bookstore "Jānis Roze" is on the 4th floor and the last time I went there, the only way to get to it was to take the lift at the H&M entrance on the inside of the building! I'm not sure if they fixed it, but the escalator for the 4th floor was blocked off and the other lift couldn't take you to the 4th floor, only 1-3! So only use the lift at the H&M store, it's a bit old and it takes a while to open, but if you're desperate to get to that Jānis Roze up there, then you do you!

Продали подарочный пакет ( не дешёвый, почти 3€). Когда принесла оказалось что нет одной ручки. Когда я пришла в этот магазин купить другой и сказала что мне продали без ручки. Я ожидала извинение, но к моему разочарованию мне ответили « Смотреть надо!!!» Ало??? Вы на ферме работаете или в сервисе??? Учитесь! В сервисе нужно извинится как минимум. Очень неприятно!
