Home restaurant in the basement. Food is delicious, portions are huge, staff is friendly. The prices are democratic. Of the minuses: the children's corner is dark, small, painted. There is no children's menu.

What a fantastic place. Stumbled upon it during a walk through town and was happy I stopped in. Food was great and for a great price. 3 people ate a meal, had drinks and desert for 50 euro. Definiely worth your time

Friendly staff, nice location. We had delicious frog legs, lamb and veal cheeks. Plenty of coctails to choose. Prices lower than on the old town side. Friday-Saturdays are busy so reservation is recommended.

It is such a great choice! We visited Riga for a few days and this restaurant made our journey even better. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the overall experience was amazing. I truly recommend. 😊

Wow! This is the word to describe the gastronomic experience and the atmosphere! Good music, intimate seatings, exquisite food (try the duck or the veal or the fish... I guess anything you choose will be very tasty!), prompt service (by the way, the waiter was the most straight forward waiter I have ever seen and he was funny too, as he wasn't afraid to stimulate a little "competition" between guests from the other tables to place orders quickly, in order to help with the kitchen organization) and the best tea I have ever had in my entire life (and I am not a fan of sweet teas, but this one was just perfect: not too sweet, not too sour, with a spark of cinnamon flavour - I won't tell you which one it was, try them all if you have the chance!). I recommend it with all my heart!

Very good food. I took the lamb goulash soup and the amazing fajitas with tequila, rigorously flambée at the table.
Quality of food was great.
Service a bit slow being a Monday, but it was well worth the wait.
There are 3 separate places where to dine, the central room where I was sitting was anonymous, with no personality; a second room had a cave feeling (a tad fake, but cozy), and the third one (my favourite!) Was the usual pub style.
Overall, a good experience that I can recommend.

The portions were big and filling. Chicken dish was good, and, soup and pasta were fine. Overall a cosy restaurant if you manage to get seating downstairs. Upstairs was pretty cold with heaters at a distant, which did not help and ruined the experience.
