Arts center NOASS

An awesome place: away from the touristy city center, with a great view and amazing atmosphere. You can also enjoy some art here completely free of charge! When we visited it there were 3 different exhibitions available. Totally recommended!

I don't know about the art but the toilet is great. But don't go there just to get rid of your waste! The point is if the owner has thought about good experience when it's time to use this room so then everything other might be good too.
Actually I just realised that it's very interesting and mysterious where the waste goes. I mean, the place is like a floating brick on the water. Damn, there's is so much unknown stuff to explore in this life.

The best music venue, my latest discovery. For the last few months been going there and enjoying gigs. Fresh air and river breeze, romantic panorama, good sound. The drinks could be cheaper, but since some events are for free, that's okay.

Sound engineer is deaf!! It was extremely loud to the point of just sounding like incomprehensible noise! Ruined the concert one of my favorite groups!

One of my favorite places in Riga where events happen very frequently, so if you haven't been, log onto their Facebook page and see if they have anything going on and just go! They frequently have poetry readings and film screenings which is an entirely different experience in the dark on a floating boat.
