Rixwell Elefant Hotel

The hotel is located behind a gas station near a big road. Loud music can be heard beyond 3am in the night.
Top notch staff and service.
Decent breakfast, i liked it!

Spacious and clean rooms in a lovely hotel. Tv could be bigger, felt outdated and small for the room. But bathroom was large with a nice tub, nice touch with a heated towel rack.

Clean and cozy rooms. Not too far from the city center either. Also, very good and varied breakfast! I really recommend their small, chocolate glazed donuts and chocolate mouse 😋

Definitely not a 4 starts hotel. Old outdated bathrooms, uncomfortable beds, and average breakfast. From the pics and from outside it looks so much better than in reality.
Also the bedsheets and the towels are old, thin and about to break…
The gym was good, decent size and with most of the equipment.

Two positive things: smooth check in service and pleasant smell when walking in the room. From that point things went downhill.
As it is winter and energy prices are high, the hotel tries to cut from every possible place. Bathroom is so cold, that you literally have to go in with boots, otherwise your toes will turn blue. (It somehow fits with the all white interior of this bathroom - like arctics in there 🙃)
The main hall is rather cold, which makes dining and breakfast quite uncomfortable. Best to bring your coat with you. It is interesting that they constantly switch off table lights as soon as one client leaves table, but heat the space with large infrared heaters...
Breakfast buffet is a disaster let's be honest. You can definitely eat a lot there, but most of the things there don't look fresh (rather from the day before yesterday). Quality of coffee drinks - 2/10. For me after each bite I was more and more worried about emergency trip to the toilet in few hours.
The room itself is rather convenient in size. Big windows is a plus (in warm times). Beds comfortable enough.
All in all from a classic viewpoint definitely not a 4-star hotel. But reliable star ratings are gone forever anyways I guess.

The service on the highest level! The hotel is perfect!
The guest checked in very late and almost overslept the very important meeting. Was impossible to reach him by the phone.
Didn’t have the possibility to call on the straight number of the hotel, so sent the email with the favor to wake up the guest.
The personal answered very quickly and saved the situation!
In five minutes the guest already was awaken. More than recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All good but one thing very slippery bath should think about it to do something. Nearly fall but I'm a very aware of things like that. Very clean room. Enjoy the stay and they provided us with take away breakfast because we left very early. That was very nice of them. Thanks 👍.

Absolutely nice hotel. Clean Rooms and a fantastic restaurant in the lobby. You will get freshly made food and good beer at the hotels restaurant. The bus 22 or 53 will take you direct to the city of Riga which takes about 10-12min.
