Krāslavas pils

Interesting place, nice to walk around and well kept.

Nice and relaxing area around but nothing outstanding. Free to walk around and some paid exibitions were available too Palace (mansion) is not open for public as it is in poor condition and not safe to be in. Overall nice staff on site but the visit will probably only last up to 30min if you don't see the exhibitions.

Went there as a part of a wedding. It's not possible to go inside, but we had a great guide and the garden is lovely, it's a nice photo op for visitors and locals alike.

A short drive from Aglona to Kraslava, another nice town in East Latvia. The city is located along Daugava river. Worth to see, preserved history, great views towards the river, specific architecture. The castle area is perfect for walking and enjoying the nature.

Overall nice visit, if you want to see something beautiful in Kraslava then Kraslava palace is the place, you can visit park for free, however you cant go and visit palace,because it is under reconstraction for many years and years to come, but the park is rather big and great place where you can picnic. As well in palace info center is free wc and you can learn about places to see, next to palace is museum about Kraslava and above info center is another museum with dolls if you are in to them :)

It is located really high location for Latvia. Good observation point and nice garden. Main building is closed and seems abandoned, but never the less it’s great place for a walk.

Pretty place and the souvenir shop has great stuff. Big Paintings, latvian stickers etc.

Omg there is a doll museum in this place, it's just jaw dropping. A women named Olga creates all these beautiful dolls and miniatures and showcase it in this museum. The tour guide was so energytic and lovely and positive. She speaks only Russian. You can also try out some dresses there and take pictures. I personally enjoyed it. I recommend visiting this museum.
