Cameroon is a country located in central Africa. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Nigeria to the northwest, Chad to the northeast, the Central African Republic to the east, and Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of Congo to the south. Cameroon has a population of over 24 million people and an area of 475,442 square kilometers. Cameroon is home to a diverse range of ethnic groups, including the Bamileke, Bamum, Douala, Fulani, Kirdi, and Ewondo. The official languages of Cameroon are French and English, but there are also many other Cameroonian languages spoken throughout the country. Cameroon is a presidential republic with a unicameral legislature. The capital city of Cameroon is Yaoundé, and the largest city is Douala. Cameroon's economy is largely based on agriculture, with Cameroonian coffee and cocoa being some of the country's main exports. Tourism is also an important part of Cameroon's economy. Cameroon is home to a number of interesting attractions, including Mount Cameroon, Lake Nyos, Waza National Park, and Dja Faunal Reserve.
