The night was ruined when the Saturday night DJ asked for "all my money" for a song request on the request computer. He somehow ruined Rihanna which is tough to do. If you want a downgraded midway with 2x the cost of drinks then come to the dancing sasquatch.

Fun dance club in Banff. Get there early to avoid line ups! Younger crowd and bar is tight when it gets busy. We paid $10 cover just to get in. Fun night for my brothers stag.

A fun nightclub for sure. Just be careful that they swipe your drinks when you are away from them, even after you've stopped them from doing that three times in a night. When you complain about them doing that, you'll likely get kicked out for zero good reason.

Very "Mid" place. Little ambiance and lousy DJ that only plays overplayed songs with no diversity. Could be because the establishment doesn't pay him enough to care, or they choose what he can play?

Hopefully they upgrade the place, or yet a better competitor opens up... considering Banff is a tourist attraction and people want to have a fun time.

With Banff being limited to a “nightclub feel” we ended up at Sasquatch. My previous times have always been great. However the “DJ” if you can call him- left me speechless. I was feeling great and went to ask him to play a song ( WHICH I WOULD TIP HIM FOR ). He rudely pointed to the computer for the request. In which I wrote my request. After I wanted to send a thank you for playing my request and he shut the computer completely off. When he played my song he literally played it for 30 seconds. Afterwards I left to go grab cash from my wallet, I grabbed the wrong bill after I handed it to him. I realized when he ripped the $20 out of my hand he turned so quickly that I tried to grab his attention to exchange for the not even deserved $5. He ignored my request and reacted to me like I attacked him. I was completely in shock of his lack of any appreciation. His ability to take a $20 for 30 second song & his complete and utter rudeness. He shouldn’t be working for your establishment.

I honestly do not understand the DJ, just as you’re getting to know what the song is, you have no time to actually dance to the music before he switches it to something else... They have so many bars in town..instead of waiting outside for nothing just go somewhere else... Only people from Calgary who doesn't know better are going there. Im not gonna even talk about the Doorman.

Change the DJ please, or teach him how to properly switch songs.
