It's hard to be a health facility in changing times. We hear often horror stories of waiting and misdiagnosis. Each time I visited, either for myself or for loved ones I was treated with courtesy and respect. Open Wi-Fi would be making the wait a little shorter. TV should broadcast health messages with preventative health subjects.

This hospital is horrible. By far the worst I've ever seen. The typical wait time here just to get in a room can be any were from 2-8 hours, then once you get to the room it's usualy about an hour wait until the doctor comes to see you. I am speaking from experience being a local resident.

Horrendous, the women at the front are so rude . . The female doctor on call I saw didn't even come through the doorway of the exam room and I had to talk to her about some medical concerns that I had that I didn't want everyone in the emergency room to listen in on. When I talked she talked over me and when I tried to get a word in to ask her to close the door I was informed that she was going to go see other patients and come back to me when she had time. Went in for simple blood work today and the level of service I received would have been more organized at a circus. Last time I will ever come here for anything. I will drive to the city . . Our Healthcare system is so broken, it's sad.

The worst emergency and outpatient care. The only time you have a minute chance of seeing a doctor is between 9 to 1. I have sat there with bronchitis for 16 hours and then told to come back the next day.

Actually one of the best experiences I have had in emergency room. I was expecting horrible, but barely any wait time, the doctor really took his time with my son and did multiple examinations, even discovering another potential issue unrelated to chief complaint and ordered more tests for that at a later date just to be sure everything was alright. The nurses and doctors were all very pleasant and kind. We were in and out in less than two hours at 10 o'clock at night with what I considered a relatively minor emergency. It was our first healthcare situation in the north since moving up, and I was actually really impressed. The doctor was a young doctor, but seemed extremely caring, and attentive...like he actually enjoyed his job. He had a good rapport and genuine quality, not typical of a lot of doctors these days. None of the staff asked about vaccination status (I was expecting a lecture and have been avoiding medical care for over a year to avoid this). It was never brought up other than the nurse asking my child (not me) in the standard admittance questionnaire. Never brought up again. Never asked why not. I appreciate this more than they realize and it has drastically improved my confidence in the medical system. I realize this entire experience is anecdotal and possibly a one-off situation...but the staff at Fairview emergency planted a seed without knowing last night. I was shown for the first time in a very long time that I can trust in our medical system and our healthcare system providers for myself and my children. When I needed them, they were there : with kindness, compassion, and without judgement. The system is pretty broken, but I see now there are a lot of good people within it still holding it together and showing up everyday to do their job, and that is commendable.

Please post your Post Office Bag # on your website so that it's easy to send mail or pkgs. The post office wouldn't accept your street address on my pkg. Same for Cont Care facility. Had to call long distance to ask for the box/bag #.
