IGA Banff

A great location in the heart of downtown Banff. Free parking for those that are shopping inside. There's a security guard who watches the parking lot to ensure only customers are using it. There's no walk offs.

Inside, there's a great selection of products and even a small pharmacy section.

Overall. A decent location. Good shopping experience.

Wide selection of fresh produce, cooked foods, deli, meats, bakery, frozen food, pet treats, daily-use items, household items, things you may need for your road trip and camping trip. Very reasonable prices and has its designated parking spots in the lot for the store.

In and out quick. Simple and small store - there is a fascinating interest in ketchup flavored stuff in Canada. None of this has made it to the states (that I’m aware of).

For a very small store. They have alot. No alcohol. Have to go around the corner. Staff was helpful in locating items. Sandwiches for hikes avalable. Small parking lot and this place was packed.

IGA has everything you could possibly need. The produce looked fresh and well stocked. They have a few quick meal options if you just want to grab something and go. The store has pretty much everything you need. We needed some ointment and the first aid/personal hygiene area had good variety. I was impressed with this IGA because I have been to some more rural IGA stores and the variety/quality was not as good. The cashier we had was not very friendly, but maybe she was overwhelmed with how busy it was. I inquired about her day and had a one way conversation while she just stared. I hope my positivity would brighten 🌞 her day.

Great idea to put a grocery store in Banff. We loved stopping in to get their packaged salads/sandwich while we walked around instead of going out to eat a pricey meal. Its location is perfect, being right beside the On-It Transit bus shuttle. The only "con" was that the lines are fairly long but we did go during a summer weekend so it was understandable.

Their butter chicken and rice was very good. But we bought samosas and empanadas and they tasted ok but was very cold. But overall a decent place to grab some in expensive food and some grocery staples if you are visiting

Strategic location supermarket has everything you need. Steep price, bring your own bag.
Brought my grocery for the week came up to $110.
