I booked a cab the night before because I needed to attend a function at 7 am in the city. No cab in the next morning despite the booking, called, got vague apology followed by a text saying that the service is experiencing difficulty finding cabs. Arrived late and told hundreds of people there, about B&W taxis and the shoddy service. Many in leadership and no doubt speeding the word at their workplace.

The staff over the phone and the drivers are OK they do their best with stranded customers, just someone needs to look at poor management.

This must be the worst cab service in Australia!
The drivers have always been great but the way the call service handles business is disgraceful.
We have been loyal customers for several years now but have found that most of the calls do not get passed onto the drivers making get a cab nearly impossible.

Be careful! Our cab driver manually changed the price of our trip on the card machine and took our card to pay up front. When I checked my bank I was overcharged for the trip and when I contacted black and white cabs for a fare summary with my car number, exact pick up and drop off locations and time they never responded to me!

Booking a cab on their website was easy enough. However I was two minutes late for my cab driver and he had left. Two minutes is not a reasonable time. I understand 5 but 2 minutes is shocking when you are relying on a cab. Awful service from a driver. The lady I spoke to in customer service was helpful.

Absolutely Disgraceful!
I called on the 31/08 and arranged for a taxi to pick up my mother on the 02/09 at 2.50 pm.
Trip was to the Brisbane airport with a stop to drop her cat off at virgin freight.
I called on the morning of 02/09 to confirm my mother's booking!
At 2.50 my mum received a text saying no cabs available!
My mother called me and was absolutely distressed and crying.
THIS IS TERRIBLE! It is so important to be there when the customer has told you they have a flight to catch!
I tried to file a complaint however they like to make it hard for you and do not hold themselves accountable to their actions!

I doubt they will do anything to actually make this up to my mother!

Luckily YELLOW CABS saved the day and where able to help her to the airport on time!
If you need to do something important like catch a flight or go to someone's birth or wedding or funeral please don't use this company!

EDIT UPDATE;
I was told someone from customer service would call me back on Monday and it is now Thursday and they have not called up to investigate or make it better! So it's now 6 days latter and they do not even care!

This business is an embarrassment to the Gold Coast tourism industry. My advice is to not trust this company with your cab booking. I booked a maxi taxi around a week in advance and was told although the pick up time couldn’t be guaranteed, it would be there 5 or 10 minutes either side of the time. Well… that didn’t happen. In fact, no maxi taxi even turned up. Our group of 10 friends were left standing outside of a closed restaurant for 45 minutes waiting for them. And still no cab. It was my husband’s birthday and it was an awesome day apart from their no-show at the end. We phoned twice and were given zero information about the ETA of our taxi… or whether there would ever even be a taxi! If we waited for them, we’d still be there. Totally unacceptable B&W cabs. If your pick up is important, don’t trust them! (I’d give them zero stars if I could… pay back for the zero service we got today.)

I rang and booked a Maxi Taxi on Monday the 17/10/22, at 3.45pm, from Victoria Point, After almost 2 hours waiting I called B+W and was told there was no taxi's in the area. I was with an elderly lady in a wheelchair, who had to get back to the nursing home, I asked if they could appeal to a driver to pick her up and I was told that they had tried that and no one could/would help. so we were stranded. We eventually got a taxi through another company. We did not get back to the nursing home till after 7pm, and the poor woman was starving and exhausted sitting outside in her chair for over 2 hours. I know that there are staff shortages but this is a public service and if you are having problems delivering then the public should be advised before any trip is taken.

I booked a cab 3 hours in advance by speaking verbally to the B&W operator, so there was no mistake, to pick me up from my Brisbane home to drive me to the airport domestic terminal. 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time the taxi had not arrived so I rang the operator who say she “would try to find me a taxi” but could guarantee a time! 35 minutes after the original scheduled time we were still waiting. Fortunately a neighbour drove us to the airport.
An appalling lack of service and professionalism.
