Was suppose to start my cert 2 with AICD this Saturday but the course was cancelled due to not enough numbers apparently. No one called me to inform me. It was only when I called to ask a question about the make-up kit that I was told. People need to organise to get kids looked after, time off work etc and for the dates to be changed only a few days out is disgusting. Very unreliable business.

If we're talking about bullying, this place almost encorages it. I was there for only a week when the bullying began and the staff did nothing about it. Thus totally ignored my complaints. This school sucks, don't even try it. I moved schools after only a month and studied at one of their main competitors and let me tell you they are so much better BTW if your looking for a school The Academy Of Design is where I moved to and so much better.

My experience at this school has been nothing but pleasant and I feel comfortable in all my classes and around all my trainers/ staff. The content is very relevant to the industry and I would deffs recommend to a friend.

I studied a Cert 3 in design fundamentals (interior design), one day a week for a year. My experience with AICD was not bad but it definitely wasn’t amazing. I wouldn’t rave about the facilities the college has to offer as I found them to be worn out and old. Working in the industry already, I found the course to not be hands on nor did I feel like it provided me with any job ready information. I believe this course would be beneficial for someone who had absolutely no idea/passion for design. I would have loved to be taught more about design principles and elements as apposed to painting different colours on sheets of paper for a couple of weeks. I found that the college itself failed to prepare trainers with the best information in relation to assessment and issued information with very late notice. I completed the course at the beginning of March and only just received the certificate a whole three months later. I expect there to be some delay with regards to certifying the assessment however, for AICD to claim that this is a job ready course is not right. If I was not employed in the industry already I would have struggled to get an industry related job without a certificate for three months post completion. I found administration staff to be a little rude, and acting like anything they were doing was more than their job role entailed. I find it hard to validate the ratings of this school as there are AICD staff who have rated the college.

I enrolled for the design course last Feb, i organised one day a week off work so i could do the course and then two weeks before the course was due to start they informed they didn't have enough numbers and it would be delayed until June. They didn't have the courtesy to keep me updated, i had to keep calling asking what the june date would be. After arranging my days off with work again the course was cancelled again a couple of days before the start date. I just found them to be unprofessional and lapse. After reading the below review about the poor course from someone who managed to do it. It actually sounds like a blessing as looking at the tutors running the course they are more beauty therapists than interior designers.

Finished an online fashion course with AICD that allowed flexibility around my sched. It was very helpful in learning more about the local fashion industry. The online learning platform was easy to access and upload work.

Doesn't deserve even 1. Poor quality teaching, very questionable ethics, admin constantly giving false information, they have a pass-the-buck office culture. They will say it's under new ownership, but that's been the case for long enough now so that doesn't count. And there are staff on here giving 5 star reviews.

Be very wary of online courses offered. The promised content was not delivered, then various stories were produced as excuses. This includes apparently being hacked, staff changing etc. The outcome is no learning provided and so far, 4 months being fobbed off with regard to a refund.

I note the reasonable sounding replies to other google reviews here are often from the same staff members who are constantly making excuses and using delaying tactics in real life.

Please look elsewhere to spend your money on furthering your education.
