River Place Apartments

Over the past 15 years we have lived at Riverplace Apartments on three seperate occasions, levels 12, 13 and 35.
• Location: excellent, 10 minutes walk to the City or Fortitude Valley.
• Facilities: great with the upgrade of the gym and sauna plus a 25 meter heated pool, spa and bbq area.
• Common areas: always kept very clean and tidy.
• Apartment: views are fantastic with great size balconies. Well built with good fixtures and fittings and no thin walls like the new buildings. Any apartment maintenance and repairs were always completed in a timely manner.
• Building Management: after living in Dubai, London, Sydney and other buildings in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, we have to say the reception team and building management are second to none, they are always professional with great communication and willing to go the extra mile to help if needed.
We can not recommend this building highly enough.

Fantastic beautiful views, reception are pretty good & have always been always been polite & friendly. Only down side to this place is it’s an old building furniture is a bit out dated & it can be noisey at times...

I've lived here for several years now and it makes me sad to see some of these reviews. It really is a testament to how people don't necessarily write good reviews, just bad reviews when they're upset. My wife and I absolutely love it here. We initially selected it as it had one of the best gyms/pools available of the 10+ other apartments in the CBD we were considering and there were no neighboring tall buildings so you still retained privacy. Then in the first month of living here we started seeing that the staff here are really friendly and helpful. Now down the road, I can say with certainty, we selected the best place to make our home. They regularly maintain it from air-conditioner cleaning, safety alarm tests, cleaners in the shared spaces and if you have specific problems with your unit, they jump on it right away. The views are amazing, most of the others that live here are very friendly, the lighting is great and having a spa in the evening is just breath-taking. We've just had our first child and it is certainly kid-friendly too. The staff here love our new little man! Living here has made our entire experience moving to Brisbane that much better.

I have rented an apartment through River Place Management for over 3 years and I highly recommend living here. The Management are friendly & professional and their team of staff go above and beyond. The reception staff are always welcoming and ready to assist with any request.
Perfect location - walking distance to the city, restaurants, shops, transport etc.
The gym & pool/spa are excellent and well maintained. Also the outdoor entertainment/BBQ area has an amazing view of the Story Bridge & Brisbane River.

This building is terrible with random people making noise at all hours of the day and night - parties, dragging furniture, banging things, domestic arguments - so if you're looking for a nice home don't waste your time with River Place Apartments. I've lived in CBD apartments for 12 years and this is the worst one - despite the overrated views. The apartments are all very dark because they face South to get the river views. Management are not helpful at all - if you want a good nights sleep you will need to phone the police regularly. The apartments are all overpriced as the building is 15 years old and the interiors very faded.

Just amazing – stand out would be team that run the building. Nothing is ever an issue, always happy, bright and bubbly. Can’t do more to help. It is an amazing location, with stunning facilities. Everything is always clean and well maintained. The people in the building are friendly and it feels like a community. Being right next door to the Howard Smith Wharves and right on the River Walk makes this a simply stunning location. If you are thinking of living here, don’t hesitate. Great place to live.

I have lived here for the last 15 years. Now that I am older, my children feel safe that I live here, the security is excellent.
The onsite manager and reception staff are all courteous, pleasant, happy beautiful people.
The facilities are very well updated and maintained. Modern gym, sauna and swimming pool with jacuzzi has the best view of the river and the city, it's spectacular esp at night.
Howard Smith Wharves opened recently but I have no issues on noise on half way of the building. I rather enjoy the HSW fireworks once a month without having to wait for the River Fire Festival and New Year.
There's always visitors carpark available for visiting family of friends.
Looking out or Sitting out to the balcony takes my breath away each day, the view seem to change each and everytime thinking how lucky I am to live here. I love the reactions and Oohhs and Aahhs of friends who come to visit.
Don’t hesitate to rent or buy here. You will not regret it.
I love this place.

This kitty is just chillin’ as most of the 1000’s of visitors to Howard Smith Wharves do. From directly underneath Australia’s longest & oldest (in this ancient Indigenous but young European ‘dominated’ country) cantilever bridge… Floyd (the kitty) knows not his surroundings. Level 30 / it’s a risk to his survival because his interests are so strong. Alas, kitty is the focus - he’s beautiful, extremely curious, pink skin with white fur that developed ginger lines / Points … ears, nose, spine and tail. He’s my best friend. I might post some of the most amazing cat pics-who thinks he’s a dog..
