Great service and very friendly reliable staffing. I don't know why specifically but I vaguely remember that they aren't a "full service" post office. Again, not quite sure why I'm thinking this but pretty sure it's true.

Some good chat thrown in the line if you have to wait and the staff will help you quite a bit if it looks like you're struggling with the sticky tape at the mailing station.

Nasty, unprofessional staff.
I came for a parcel and left in tears.
Please do not assume things and don't yell at people without letting them get a word in, especially those with major anxiety.

Had 2 parcels to post today, one local and one international. An older blonde lady was extremely rude and provided terrible service.
It seemed everything was too hard, and had an aggressive nature - for someone in customer service she failed miserably.

I pulled her up and asked if she was having a bad day, after which she proceeded to mutter under her breath at me.

Usually the staff here are helpful, But this lady unfortunately lets them down, epitomizing bad customer service and has a horrible attitude.

0 stars would be better but unfortunately 1 is the lowest I can go.

Constant professionalism both from management and staff, have been coming to The Gap Aus Post for 20+ years and never left unsatisfied. Sometimes customers should look at themselves and how they abuse postal workers with their rudeness!

The worst customer service ever. Not only did I get abused, yelled at and got thrown things at, I was also advised that there is no point of making a complaint as she is a personal friend to the owner. I did manage to speak to another lady, who couldn't care less about the situation. By looking at previous reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one.

What's the point of having a phone number listed on the Aust Post website, if you never answer the phone???

I wanted to post a letter Internationally and the whole time I felt really uncomfortable. I wasn't entirely sure what I was supposed to fill out or do and when I clearly stated two times that I was a little inexperienced in mailing, they didn't seem to care much at all... I ended up spending almost an hour in the post office just trying to send a single letter - if they had clearly told me what to do, and helped me, as their customer, I would have given a higher review. :/
