Just wanted to say thanks to Police Officer Michael for saying hello to my son and talking to him for a while this morning. It made a big impression that he's been talking about non-stop.

Went in with first world problems. Female officer at counter was really nice. Knew I was wasting her time but didn't have anyone else at that time to talk to. She couldn't really help me but she was good about it.

Was chatting with some friends at a car park in The Gap near mount nebo when a police officer on a bike pulled up and told us to go home. When a friend said that they actually planned on going for a drive up Mt Nebo the cop said if he catches any of us driving up there he’s going to defect us for everything he can. When my friend asked him what he could possibly defect us for (cos we’re all driving normal cars) the cop said he didn’t care and he’d get us for dirty windshields, worn wiper blades, foggy headlights. Said he could write us tickets all night unless we got in our cars and went home. When another friend asked why we couldn’t just go for a drive on a public road he threatened to start writing us defects immediately.

Really nice to see policemen harassing ordinary folks who are getting together for a catch up in our nature. Standing around and chatting quietly amongst ourselves and we’re threatened by an officer of the law going on a power trip. Absolute joke. Couldn’t even ask the cop what we were doing that was wrong without him threatening us. No room for dialogue and no respect shown from the officer here.

Got a fine for going 45 in a 40 zone. Straight to sper baby! Enjoy the 1 star.

Thanks to the officer who rescued my bag! I lost it when it fell off the back of my bike. I was contacted within an hour of arriving at work, and even though I had arranged to pick it up from the station the officer went out of their way to deliver it to my work instead.
