I would like to thank Faulkner Removals for their expertise and professionalism in helping me move from my home of 48 years.
It was a difficult day, however Dean and Jamie were amazing ..their kindness, good humour and efficiency made the experience and lot less traumatic for me
Their diligence and caring attitude made a huge difference. I was enormously grateful to them.
The job was organised with very little notice and I found Faulkner’s to be extremely professional from beginning to end.
I would not hesitate to recommend Faulkner Removals and would definitely use them again should the need arise.

Thanks to Irish and Tim who recently helped me get out of a difficult situation recently after a battle with Cancer. Your kindness in giving your time to help me pack on your day off and without charge will be remembered and appreciated for ever. Thank you for your kindness, generosity and for ensuring that my things were all moved safely to their new home. Thanks guys and Faulkner removals, I am eternally grateful.

We relocated in January 2022. From the moment we spoke to the team at Faulkner Removals, until our furniture was delivered to our residence, in Cairns, nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. The 2 removalist guys were so friendly and efficient, and I was amazed at how quickly everything was packed up. The ladies in the office were super lovely and helpful, too (I'm sure they got sick of me calling so often to change my dates), but they honestly bent over backwards to help me and my family out, time & time again, and with very little notice most of the time. We even had to store goods with them for about 4 weeks (which was unexpected), and they had no issues accommodating this service for us, too. Based on our move, I would tell anyone who wants a removalist to look no further, as this is the company you want to use. Well done, Faulkner Removals. We can not thank you enough for the tremendous efforts performed by your whole team!

Guys that picked up were excellent except one guy just ran along rough and bumpy paving pushing an expensive butchers chopping block on wheels. Hence a wheel was broken off at the arrivals end. But otherwise the pick-up was excellent.

The 2 stars is because of the 3rd time lucky delivery. We were given a delivery time on a day earlier than expected. We cancelled plans for the day to be home to accept delivery. We got a phone call when the truck was due that they couldn't make it until around midday the next day.

We then changed plans for a lunch meeting that day only to be waiting and waiting. I contacted the truck whom said they were still several hours away. They finally arrived about 4.30pm aboutanother4 hours late. 3rd time lucky🙄

Now I understand it was a tough time with the SEQ flood and the Far North Queensland heat wave. The truck driver was suffering some sort of heat exhaustion. Awful for him so he needed to rest up, we got him drinks a seat etc. But he just complained about the job the whole time when Ash just soldiered on with the help from a neighbour and we helped moving much of the stuff also.

The poor guys didn't have a ramp or elevator to get things off of the truck. Lucky another neighbour could loan us a step ladder and a trolley. So many obstacles for these guys.

We did help as much as we could, kept the guys hydrated and were very helpful despite being let down numerous times.

When leaving the driver complained again and again about everything and mentioned that he'd cancelled the job for the day earlier due to heat exhaustion that day as well. Swearing about customers and office staff telling him what to do.

We also had a printer damaged and a leg broken off of an outdoor setting table. Plus the wheel on butcher's block. Disappointed.

Now the office staff are brilliant and young Ash is an asset to the company.

I could wear a delay once but twice wasn't good at all.

Nothing good to say about the driver at the arrivals end. Hence the 2 stars.

Faulkner Removals are the Brisbane agents for Chess Removals. I needed to move within my suburb of Brisbane, and Chess were the only one of the major removals firms who responded positively to my request for a quote.
Communications with the office for Faulkner Removals was easy and accurate. Faulkner Removals team was early in arriving at my old place, were friendly and polite, and listened to my, by necessity, specific handling requests for certain items. The team was efficient in moving my goods from the old place to the new one.
I would not hesitate in recommending, to anyone, Chess Removals or Faulkner Removals, for doing a house move.

I don’t write reviews unless I am exceptionally pleased or bitterly disappointed. In this case it’s the former. I had my gear in storage for over a year and when I got these guys to deliver it to my new house I was expecting a few items to be broken.
As it turns out everything was perfect. Additionally, the guys (I can’t remember their names but a pair of Kiwi lads) were exceptional in their service and skill. They got some very heavy items into place with a positive attitude and treated my things with great care.
On the downside they were late a few hours - this didn’t matter to me and they kept up communication throughout the day and explained the reason (which seemed reasonable), and they made up for it with the service.
Overall, would use again without hesitation- highly recommended.

I could not recommend Faulkner Removals/Chess Moving any higher! From my initial quote, to the delivery of our furniture every person we dealt with was efficient, friendly, professional and nothing was too much effort. Their prices were very reasonable and the removal team were early on both ends of collection and drop off! Thank you for making our move so seamless!

Absolutely fantastic job i highly recommend this company.
Moving is stressful enough especially when your working full time. Not with this company they did all the work moving was a breeze.
Everything arrived early and NOTHING was missing or damaged
AWESOME job guys and i definitely know who to contact if i ever need to move again 😁
