Cash Converters Moorooka

I've spent thousands of dollars at this store. The stock is interesting like all Cash Converters, but the staff are terrible. It's rare to even get a hello when you walk in. They rarely take an interest whether I'm looking for anything in particular, and are often speaking about personal things loudly, which I find unprofessional. Today I left in disgust when I walked up to the counter to buy something and one of the staff was leaning on the counter, talking on the phone facing away from me.

Everthing is over priced, which is strange as they give the worst prices out of Stones Corner, Cannon Hill, Morningside and even the Valley. They close early every chance they get. On top of that 70% of the workers are bad tempered robots "MAKING MONEY FOR THE OWNER" as it is a frachise which makes it not work!!!!!

Place is small but the staff are friendly heaps of items to look at and to buy if your interested , but all in all it is a great business to buy what you need at a reasonable price

Would not reccomend - Sub-par service

I bought a phone that I had to return unfortunately. The staff and Ben was very kind and understanding in issuing a refund with no problems

Terrible experience today

Was hoping to sell a brand new breville smart home dehumidifier RRP $400 because it was sitting in the cupboard collecting dust.

Customer service person immediately begins insinuating there is something wrong with it because tape on the box has been opened. Then tries to low ball me by offering $30-$40.

To make things worse, he says that a completely different model sold for $110 and that’s what he would sell it for. What a ridiculous lie, he had already confirmed that JB-HIFI sells them for $400 new.

Insulting, disappointing and a shame considering I have purchased items and loaned at this store before without a problem.

I hope the manager reads this and asks why a genuine customer would ever feel this way after leaving the store. I will not do business here and never recommend this shop to anyone.
