Wow, What an amazing find!

I can’t speak highly enough of this place & the amazing people who work there.

The whole experience from start to finish was phenomenal, and it was an experience it didn’t feel transactional at all. An extremely personal touch with excellent care and communication throughout.

There needs to be more places like this establishment!

I was lucky enough to be Hayden’s first client on his first day and it was my first time here and I can already tell he will make an exceptional member of the team there ✨

If you are queer (or not) in Brisbane and looking for a great barber shop experience hit up dreamboat!

Located in a cool little alley way in the valley the vibe was super friendly, laid back and open with all the barbering skills you’d expect in a barber shop with the addition of a more modern, creative, queer and unlimited eye.

Stumbled across the shop and managed to get a walk in appointment with Hayden. They gave me a magnificent head shave, great attention to detail, and shaped up my mullet and beard.

Consultation was on point and felt super heard, and they clearly understood what I was after because I was super happy with the result.

Even got to give lots of pats to Sport the little pug x chihuahua salon dog who was super cute and friendly.

10/10 recommend Dreamboat, Hayden and Sport.

Let’s start off by saying that Hayden is AMAZING! Today was my first time visiting Dreamboat and I was blown away by how lovely and welcoming the staff were. As for my haircut, Hayden did a wonderful job, he accommodated my hair goals and my wolf cut looks so cute! Love love love ❤️

From the start, my experience with Dreamboat was lovely. I got a haircut and my hair dyed, so all up it took 4 hours. That time passed easily, and I was always asked at well-timed intervals if I would like a refreshment or a toilet break. My comfort was always top priority.

The people who work there themselves are wonderful. Samie cut my hair, and she and I immediately settled into wonderful and vibrant conversation. It brightened up my morning, and helped soothe my slight nerves about my forthcoming first hair dye experience. She was easy to talk to about what I wanted, and willing to give clearly experienced recommendations. Overall she was a friendly, sweet and lovely person to have cut my hair.

Maya then turned up to start on the hair dye. They were considerate of my decisions from the get-go, as had been the case in our consultation prior, yet she was also willing to give her educated input. They made sure to check in on how I was doing throughout the entire dyeing process, and they were also lovely to talk with. She was a focused and clearly hardworking individual and it was relaxing sitting while she did her thing.

Everyone was kind and wonderful. They respected my pronouns, and understood exactly what I wanted regarding my hair and achieved that for me. I'm very happy with the outcome of my visit, and I'll definitely be visiting again.

I've had some pretty awful experiences with hairdressers which lead me to cutting my own hair for 5 years. After a while of following wonderful reviews & results from Dreamboat, I decided to take the plunge. And I regret nothing!
I saw Samie and she was so understanding & reassuring.Definitely my best haircutting experience so far. 💞
