The Courts are difficult to review, as you are there for a legal reason which often isn't a positive experience. The Courts themselves are modern, clean and well presented. There isn't enough seating and often most are left standing waiting for their matter to be called. The Courtroom gallery seats are comfortable.

Most of the staff are awesome. A lot of the security guys and girls are lovely and understanding. The Law Clerks downstairs are outstanding especially given the trauma, frustration and volume of work they see.

Of course it's a sad and expensive place overall. An outdated place at the apex an Industry of Lawyers, Report Writers, Independent Children's Lawyers, counsellors, contaxt centers, charities, DV groups etc etc.

"best interests of the Industry not children" it seems. A right to a meaningful relationship with both parents is a nice but hollow mantra.

The best part of the courts was the support that was being provided by The Australian Brotherhood of Fathers out the front of the courthouse. They were there providing support for fathers left devestated by losing access to their children in the family court system! Keep up the good work brothers!

The building and facilities are good however the reason you are there usually is not so good

Was only working outside the Law Building at the time of the visit. The offices were closed.
