I'm a regular shopper at Sports First at the gap. They have a great range of swimwear and the young lady at the counter always greets me with a smile and goes out of her way to be helpful. I'm happy to continue supporting a local business.

I walked in to the store, just wanting goggles at 12:57 and the lady at the front desk said that they were closed when she was counting the money at the till. Can the manager please teach the employees customer service!!! I will never go there again!!!!!

Dreadful experience. Purchased a bag for my son for school books. Rude, uninterested and no customer service. Wanted to support a local business, but wont be going in there ever again.

I had a gift card to use here but was told by the owner that I could not participate in the promotional sale if I used the gift card. I told the owner that the gift card was merely a form of payment. Whether I chose to pay with cash, credit card or gift card, this should have no bearing on whether I was able to participate in the 50% off promotion. The owner's stance was completely unreasonable (and illegal under the ACCC rules for gift cards). This was quite simply a case of the owner being dishonest and misleading. The gift card was "as good as cash" and should have been treated that way by the owner but wasn't. This very distasteful encounter will permanently stain my opinion of this locally owned store. It is beyond me why, in the final month of trading, the owner would want to tarnish their legacy by engaging in unscrupulous behaviour.

Today the owner literally shut the door in my face. I have honestly never experienced such poor service in my life. I see the store is shutting down and its no wonder.

If you are the owner and reading this... You seem like a very sad person and I tried to find so many reason to why you were so rude to me like maybe you were having a bad day or maybe you were going through a tough time but I think you might be just sad. You should definitely go see a doctor for a referral to see a psych. Get help 🙏
