It has been an absolute pleasure staying here. Peace and cub scouts, I have really enjoyed the solitude. Safe to say I will return sooner than later.

I just loved that piece of heaven it’s absolutely beautiful and well equipped with fire pits, hot showers and flush toilets.
Fiona and Diva are the best!!!
The area is definitely affordable.

It was a lovely spot. Definitely worth going there to camp. Pity the area around the buildings hadn't been cleaned before we came to use the area.

Beautiful location but rude staff. Once we arrived we couldn’t find the reception. The lady came after us screaming what we were doing and approached us very aggressively. Of course there was no signal pointing the reception hence we couldn’t find it. The facilities were old and not well maintained. Definitely not coming back.

This campground was much more than I expected. The surrounding bushland allowed for many scouting type activities. Although it did not have the full facilities for caravan camping, it did have power for a few caravans and space for tents. The kitchen and toilets were clean and more than suitable.

It's a 2 star only because the amenities are really not good enough for $25 per night for power and access to water.
It needs a dump point to solve the issue of poor amenities.
Location wise it's great if you have to be near Ipswich.
It can get a bit hard to contact the caretaker sometimes so just be patient.
If you have a booking and cannot get in, then park on the road opposite the entrance and walk in. You may be able to find the caretaker's friend.
Parking at the gate can get dodgy on the slope and slippery surface and backing out with a van on would be suicide.
